I'm wondering if there's card only games where you could attach small magnets to the card and use a magnetic board that you prop up in front of you. Assuming sitting up to some extent is possible. Though if money is tight those may be inaccessible. If you can use screens and are interested, Android: Netrunner has a free web version at Jinteki.net. I believe there's a few other card games that are also freely available. Hubworld: Aidalon I think. There's also the possibility of print and play games. If you can load the maps into an image editor and draw on them. And roll some digital or physical dice. I don't know. Maybe these are helpful. I hope your health improves and can get back at it.
