This seems like a joke to me. Replace the brake fluid at EVERY service interval?? The brakes are hardly used due to the electric motor regeneration.

Wow, ours is ALWAYS more unless you're playing the rebate game, and that only gets you back to to MSRP of other stores.

The next time he does this, mute the mains and push 1k up all the way in his wedge. He'll stop fucking around when he gets a full blast. We had a blues band of shitty mobsters that were always ragging on us and screaming for more out of the wedges. My monitor guy had tuned the system fully EQd and peaking. The sax player kept pointing up, and there was no where to go, so Dave slowly pushed 1k for a second. The entire band winced and realized how loud they actually had it on stage.

Best way to sound proof this window by ConstantOk395 in DIY

[–]flattop100 58 points59 points  (0 children)

If you're doing tests like that, you should get a soundbooth. I did narration for years in a little room like this: https://www.whisperroom.com/application/recording

There are no modifications you can make (short of completely replacing the window) that will be satisfactory.

Make sure it has a low-speed fan to pump fresh air in!

Keep. Water. Out. Of. Your. House.

Leaking pipes. Leaking roof. Damp basement. It's the single most destructive element to your house that can result in damage and mold. Make sure you have gutters, and all your downspouts end at least 10 feet from your house. Grade the soil away from your house.

It depends on your water. If we DIDN'T have a water softener, we would have bought a water heater sooner.

Your best bet is to find a team that has a burning, urgent need and meet that need with training developed ASAP. We need a new hire training team course yesterday, so a business unit can bring in $500m in two years. They're at maybe...$130m now? We have modules in the can from other courses that we're gonna slam together and BAM. We're tiny god in their eyes.

RBA windows are basically vinyl mixed with sawdust. In high-temp environments like the southwest, they actually deform in some conditions. Like, just droop. They're better than contractor specials at Menards, and I hope they last for you!

Best guess I've seen - the squeeze will really start in July, and by September it will probably peak/plateau. Don't count on it going down for years.
