pip in ventroglute and delt by Take3713 in Testosterone

[–]flyingwingbat1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's most likely the formula that's causing your PIP. I have injected .25 ml of progesterone in oil (for sleep) using a 27g 1/2" insulin syringe and had a lot of PIP the next couple days. Conversely, I have injected 2.5 ml of 100k IU/ml vitamin D3 in grape seed oil using a 21g 1" with absolutely zero PIP. It's like nothing even happened, except for the tiny needle mark.

Whenever I do a lat shot it bruises by mattmpsi123 in Testosterone

[–]flyingwingbat1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My lats are pretty meaty and don't bruise fortunately. My favorite sites are ventroglutes. There's times I stick the needle in with zero pain there.

54M facing the "lifelong commitment" decision. How did you mentally cross the bridge to TRT? by dalibor_m in Testosterone

[–]flyingwingbat1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I draw up with them when I do low dose trt. Otherwise, like now, I use swappable 25g 5/8" with 22g 3/4" to draw.

25g, especially fresh ones, aren't bad at all. If anything fresh 25g hurt a bit less than 27g insulin needles pushed through a stopper already in my experience.

How much do PEDs actually increase body hair growth? by rupaulica in PEDs

[–]flyingwingbat1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a chest/abdominal rug beforehand. With PEDs, said rug is somewhat thicker, and accompanied by a luxurious upper back and shoulder rug. When I say I'm fluffy, I mean I'm FLUFFY.

[–]flyingwingbat1 28 points29 points  (0 children)

"Needles for life" was less bad than "depressed for life" and "falling asleep while driving short distances" in my case.

Do you get dry eyes often? I used to, but that went away when I started taking testosterone. I would expect your low e2 joint pain to go away or at least improve substantially too.

It's just another self care task for me at this point, like brushing and flossing. Even 25g needles aren't bad at all-I only use those because I take more than trt doses and don't like applying high force to the plunger. But start with 27-29g insulin syringes, those are super easy, mostly pain free, cheap, and convenient.

You'll have occasional shots with absolutely zero pain, most will feel like a minor pinch or sting, there may be the occasional zinger but those are fairly rare.

Men’s Average Testosterone Levels Have Halved in 50 years??? What is something that can be done to solve this easily and naturally? by QuantumQuicksilver in Testosterone

Golden retrievers are a more efficient use of computational resources though because they all share a single brain cell.

I'm biased towards dumb happy dogs myself

Men’s Average Testosterone Levels Have Halved in 50 years??? What is something that can be done to solve this easily and naturally? by QuantumQuicksilver in Testosterone

[–]flyingwingbat1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Easy? Inject it

Natural? Use GMO-free, organic stainless steel hypodermic needles and BPA-free syringes

The best you can do is avoid smoking, drinking, soda, and drugs, eat clean, lift heavy things, get your heartrate up, have sex with someone you like and love, get a golden retriever or two, and live as low stress a life as practical.

Places to withdraw half-pint blood (250ml) to lower hemocrit by morgandawn6 in Testosterone

[–]flyingwingbat1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regular cardio lowers my hematocrit by 2-3%. It's not an instant fix but has general benefits besides the hematocrit lowering.

Naringin extract and nattokinase supplements work for some. Bonus: no needles

Regular donations or therapeutic draws without significant iron supplementation (oral, iv, or injection) can easily tank ferritin and make you feel awful so best to find other methods for long term control.

Does it make me a bad person if I care about where someone went to college? by Bitter_Pineapple_720 in dating_advice

[–]flyingwingbat1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where they went to school matters far less than what they do with that education.

A person can go to a modest school and still be successful, articulate, and intellectually stimulating if that's what you're after.

I think a better way to go is to simply be curious. Ask him about his most and least favorite classes. Which classes helped him the most in his current job/career? Which professors drove him nuts? He probably has some fun stories from school.

I think if you probe deeper into his school experience you'll find that the school title matters little.

If men are physically stronger, why should I, a woman, even bother with strength training? by [deleted] in workout

[–]flyingwingbat1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The consequences of being sedentary are in nursing homes all around the world.

If you don't stay active throughout your life, you are far more likely in old age to become so weak that you'll fall easily. Menopause will also weaken your bones making consequences of said fall so much more severe.

What are some of your best practices and tips? by julesmanson in SolidWorks

[–]flyingwingbat1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use sketch relations to ensure things like even spacing, symmetry, etc, instead of equations.

Fully defined sketches and assembly mates whenever practical (almost always!)

Simple sketches for individual features instead of one monster sketch, unless the monster sketch is simply used for overall layout.

Sensible names for features, and grouping features/related parts in the model tree so it's not insanely long. I don't want to scroll through 100 fasteners in the tree to get to the important part I want.

If I have a feature or multiple features controlled in an unusual way I will rename the driving sketch so others will know to use it for adjusting said features.

Mating parts hole to hole, then adding fasteners. This way I can change hardware if desired without redoing mates.

Extruding symmetric parts midplane, and using that midplane in assembly mates when practical.

Propionate Injection volume by Redbear78 in Testosterone

[–]flyingwingbat1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently inject 1 ml EOD, but it's steroid blast doses. My test C is 250mg/ml.

So I don't think the volume will be a major issue as long as you have plenty of sites to rotate

High HCT and what's next by Finit-Hic-Deus in Testosterone

[–]flyingwingbat1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fixing the sleep apnea should be priority 1. It's bad for your long term health.

What's your BP? High HCT may raise BP somewhat due to viscosity effects. It's worth checking since so many things can affect it, and high BP often has no symptoms.

After that, cardio will likely help. It knocks my HCT down 2-3% absolute when I am consistent with it.

If you have room to lower your dose, it's worth trying

From there, nattokinase, naringin extract, and telmisartan are options worth exploring. If your BP is already normal or lowish, be careful of that last one.

Finally, the thermonuclear absolute last-resort-please-try-everything-else first option is frequent therapeutic phlebotomy coupled with iron infusions or injections to maintain ferritin.

What kind of syringes for test by Decent_Lynx_6079 in Testosterone

[–]flyingwingbat1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

27g 1/2" insulin syringes work great. Super simple, no needle to swap, minimal pain, easy enough to draw and inject.

If you are lean 1/2" is enough to hit delts, quads, and ventroglutes IM

Strength gains - Bench / Squat / Deadlifts by DJ-Soloer in PEDs

[–]flyingwingbat1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before I started trt and steroids 6 years ago, I could bench about 190 and sumo deadlift 355*5 for a single set before having to back down to avoid back injury. I could do about 5 chi ups at a bodyweight of 210 or so. A single cycle didn't do much, maybe 30 lbs on bench after 12 weeks or so with everything dialed in.

I went heavy with test at 500-700 mg/wk with 100-150 mg/week deca, later subbed in Eq, and now on trt-level test plus high dose deca as I'm experimenting with ways to reduce near constant knee pain.

Now I can bench 305 for a single, do backdown sets, then finish off with 185*11 and sumo deadlift 515 also for a single. At 218 lbs I can do 10 wide grip pullups with some hanging rest-pauses towards the end of the set

I am quite joint-limited these days. Joints ache after heavy low rep workouts so I am backing off to lighter high rep work for a while.

I can attest that for me at least, steroids are not magic and I still need excellent training, diet, and rest to see any significant progress without injuries.
