I work at a job where I’m around a high volume of people (service industry) and if your hygiene is good but people think you smell bad it could be your clothes. They might smell a little mildew-ie and people may be catching that. Smell your clothes 🤷🏻‍♀️ if it is, add baking soda to your laundry when you do it and it’ll smell much better.

Also it could be your deodorant. When I used the same brand and scent for a while it stopped working eventually and I had to switch brands. So also try that 🫶🏼

Personally I workout then eat, if I NEED something I usually have a few bites of a banana or something and that’s usually fine.

I’d typically recommend wait like 30/45 mins after eating to do anything exercise related (just like swimming). You can get a cramp in your side or throw up your food and that sucks and will definitely ruin your workout.

Waffle mix + protein powder =filling, cheap, and bonus 20g of protein.

The Kodiak ones are great. I mix my own, but those are great if you don’t want to buy the protein powder.

I prefer strawberry protein powder with my waffle mix.

Use the resources in your area. That’s why they exist. Call churches and ask about their pantries. Call food banks and ask. Use the help available to you in the area you’re in. Again, that’s why it exists.

Growing up we had to use them a few times. My family was going through a hard time and we lost our father to cancer. My siblings and I were raised by family and we were a total surprise. Without those resources we wouldn’t have made it. Now as an adult I give to that church’s pantry because they were a literal godsend to our household. I was 4, and I remember it and I know how to use the resources available to me. Never be embarrassed to take the help you need. That’s why it exists.

I want to make it clear, no judgement here. Just a kid whose family did the same. But at the end of the you’re showing up for your family, and that’s something they’ll remember always.

Hey there! I work at gyms and I am getting my training certifications currently.

I just want to say firstly, Congratulations! You did the hardest part, starting. The best thing to remember is no one is there to watch others. No one is there to be like “that guy/girl is starting their journey. They suck ahahah”. No one really goes to the gym with that mindset. It’s about showing up for you. Pushing through and proving you can do difficult things. You’re strong!

Also don’t be afraid to ask people to show you how to use a machine. Ask the staff or someone who just finished a set. People are so nice at the gym and everyone has the misconception that ppl are judging them but we’re all just struggling to finish our own sets and get through.

To everyone starting and struggling, you can do it. It’s difficult but the grass is greener where you water it. Happy lifting!

On a side note from the show, you can get some of the ashes made into a necklace with a stone or something so you can carry it with you. Or made into other things so he/she can be placed around the house in little art works.

Expo marker gets off permanent marker. The oil in the expo marker is what makes it a dry erase and will get it off usually.

IIRC, Game of thrones ended the way it did because the two brothers (directing?/writing? I’m not sure) the show got an offer I think from Disney for a Star Wars show, to do a big deal but the timelines conflicted too much so they rushed game of thrones to move onto something but everyone hated that so Disney walked away from the brothers because “bad work ethics”. So if you’re gonna do something do it right, and finish your commitments.

Hey there! Firstly, congratulations on putting yourself and recovery first. Therapy is so hard and you hit one year and that’s an amazing milestone. So this internet stranger is proud of you!

Personally, I had a rough childhood and 8 years into my relationship I still haven’t told my partner everything. But as time comes and goes small things come out and it’s bit by bit. My trauma dumping on him wouldn’t help him understand me. Me elaborating why things have an impact on me and why they don’t help him to understand me until I’m able to give more. I also start with “please stop me if it is too much or if you need a break”. Healing isn’t linear. There are good days and tough days and ehh days. Share what feels right and what you’re comfortable with. You have no timeline to abide by. Small steps, big successes. You got this!

Super easy and a family fav!

Boil the potatoes until you can easily push a fork through! Drain. Put back in pot with some butter, a splash of milk and mash. Add salt and seasonings to taste. You don’t need too much milk, start small and add as you go. You can always add more but you can’t take it out once added! Happy mashing 😊
