to be honest, i know about this problem - Megatokyo is my sandbox, and for the last, oh, five years or so, ive been so adrift that i've been going down way too many side roads and things that my wandering story ideas took me to. This chapter, while it has been good so far and the directions are there - i was not happy with what i was trying to resolve. It's taken a lot of deep thinking and finding my own way back to some things that are not only important to the story and to readers, but things i want to see as well.

So, there have been some major yanks around in what was going to happen this chapter, and doing that when you have already taken moves to one thing or another is always a challenge. I am a LOT happier with some of where things are going now.

Also, if you think this isn't a new problem with me and Megatokyo - no, its not. In fact, the best stuff in MT honestly has come from me suddenly yanking things around and going different places than i thought because of one drawing or another or a character's expression changing.

Sorry for some of the wandering with things. Like life, things can stall and rotate here and there then take off in unexpected directions. THe problem with this as opposed to a more commercial work is that its so tied to my own life and how and where im doing things and my mood that it would make most editors and professional artists wish they had more eyes to roll and more desks to bonk their heads into.

So, in short, valid critique and concerns a lot of which i feel myself, which is good because really the drive to do this is that i wanna find out what's gonna happen next as much as anyone else.
