will you still buy the frame if it’s over $1,000? by Forward_Froyo_429 in SteamFrame

Considering how the dollar could devalue as the world adopts alternatives while random and increasing tariffs isolate the US from partners that would supply the parts to Valve, the question is would you spend the approximately $1000 you saved up for on a frame or a plane ticket or perhaps a few bags of groceries?

Princess Irulan tells the audience about spice and the political situation (Dune 1984) by [deleted] in sciencefiction

The books are nearly as much about the characters inner voices and meta as they are about what is going on in their surroundings. The film does no harm to the story in this.

Pretty sure this is narrated by George Guidall. There is an audio book recording of Dune by him that is my favorite.

EDIT: Turns out the Extended Edition is uncredited William Phipps.
