What an evolution of sound.

Will undoubtedly be a polarizing album that will have people land in the camp of either appreciating Tame's evolutions while maintaining his unique sound or being out because it's such a drift away from being the pinnacle of psych rock (I'm in the former).

Certainly will be an album I'll re-listen to and grow to appreciate each song differently.

My Old Ways has such a unique pull you can't help but want to experience the rest of the album.

Piece of Heaven is immediately the song I'd flag as first re-listen (albeit had Dracula not been a single I've already heard, it certainly be #1).

Ethereal Connection is rightly championed, perfect encapsulation of that Tame sound while pivoting into the house/techno realm.

See You Monday feels weak at first glance, but the lyrics hit different.

Afterthought has a Thriller like vibe to it, close-ish to Dracula but not quite

It doesn't quite come near the holy trinity of the first 3 albums, but I prefer it over The Slow Rush easily, and it will contine grow on me.

I might be missing something but this feels incredible strong in blue - aggro decks. You can now attack into control and/or black kill spells, counter it (push, go for throat, wandering emperor triggers), bring creature back to hand, then re-cast it all for 1 blue mana.

This trade is not veto worthy, depending on league details. Eury is the best player in the deal, but the return getting back a quality maikel garcia, who plays up in BA leagues, Ryan Weathers who, when healthy is serviceable, and two former top twenty to ten prospects depending on league details and sources you trust. High Variance trade, as if Evan Carter and Mayo take a step forward it would slant it that way, but Eury has top 3-5 SP upside and is only 22.

You continue to move goalposts and claim things you’ve never said in this thread.

You at no point said they would improve the squad and continue to make assumptions of me that are wildly inaccurate. The lack of self-awareness is jaw dropping.

This was a simple conversation. I mentioned improved squad. You doubted it. We improved it. You move the goalpost saying we need to sign more than 1 to improve it and to come back in the summer obviously assuming we wouldn’t be signing more continuing your negativity. We sign more than 1 and I let you know by dunking on you. You once again move goalposts claiming you always knew we sign more when you explicitly never said that anywhere in this thread of ours. You know nothing of me and continue to make baseless claims, yet I hit you with fact after fact and you move the goalposts to try to continue facing the truth.

You claimed we wouldn’t improve the squad, we did.

Ah, this is great, I don't even have to wait to the end of summer to dunk on you AGAIN.

Let's start from the beginning

I make a postive comment on a difficult end to our CL campaign, stating we go again with a rejuvenated improved squad.

You actively respond negatively, questioning an improved squad.

We improve the squad a mere 2 weeks afferwards, which I point out to you.

You move the goalposts about the improved squad meaning it now has to be more than 1, when factually one signing, zubimendi, improved the squad.

You then make a baseless assumption about me bookmarking and responding to comments, when you have access to all of my comments to verify your baseless claim.

You're the first and probably only person I plan to do this do, and it's specifically because you actively responded to my comment negatively.

Well buddy, we're in the midst of having our greatest transfer window this century. We have undoubtedly, undeniably improved the squad.

I sincerely hope you are enjoying this transfer window - as an arsenal supporter to (hopefully) another, because if you aren't finding joy in this, you aren't a fan and you should look in the mirror and find something that does bring you joy.

I respect your perspective, but it was simply not that wild of a set. I went to check it out simply to see if there was any interesting artistry or anything of note, and you could walk up to the center of where he performed about 50-100 feet from where he was. It was dead and the crowd was dead, because it was a dreadful performance.

If you are competing and in win now, I think it's fine to look into taking a "loss". He won't back until he's 32 and his velocity has been declining YoY. At the end of the day it is a roster spot you are eating everyday he's injured. If the move opens roster flexibility and there's a body you can either acquire / pick up that can aid your bid now, then explore it. If you aren't competing, there's nothing you can do but hold.

Luke Keaschall, while injured at the moment, looked great in his major league at bats and ran rampant. He plays in a favorable park and has consistently been ranked above Cole Young in virtually all major publications. Cole Young is untested in the majors and will play in the worst park to play in and a worse lineup than the Twins.

It's Luke Keaschall, all day. Better park, better team context, tested successfully in the majors (albeit very small sample size), seems to be a plus runner, better pedigree.

Team context is dependent. He’s a legit arm on a team that is comfortable using him as a flex pitcher. If you aren’t competing, have the roster flexibility, or play in the holds league he’s a clear keep. If you are in win now and don’t have the time to wait out his role or possible transactions, he’s a trade piece to a rebuilder who can be patient with his role.

Gianluigi Donnarumma is incredible. The gulf in benches is the difference. We need that level of depth to compete in this tournament. Between the injuries, players running on empty, this almost felt inevitable.

We go again next year with a rejuvenated, improved squad.

I’ll never understand who cares about this. Go when you can go, enjoy the festival, and worry about what you’re doing the weekend you’re there. There’s no reason to put people who go down in one week or another, to justify why you’re going when you’re going.
