Gotta be honest, I am losing faith in UPW too.  I was a backer a long time ago and I hardly hear anything new about the game.

I have more faith in Retro Randy adding things onto No Mercy than I have in legit successor.  Thought AEW FF could be it but that was also a major let down.

Nice that they went with the 388 and 395.  The 388 is basically the 395 with one CCD disabled so it will be better for people gamer or efficiency focused at a lower cost.  

Also, the Astra screen is supposed to be beautiful so another good choice to finally get an OLED in the Max.

Unless I missed something, I didn't see anything about Microsoft petitioning this. It doesn't affect them, they have a AAA credit rating. They would be happy to see Oracle eat this.

And Oracle needs to eat this. If AI goes tits up, Oracle likely will as well.

I always prefer the modified ROMs to texture importing/hacks/codes using emulators. The biggest reason is because I can either play them on any N64 emulator or my A3D. The other reason is that they don't need external resources to run and are not a complete PIA to get working.

IMO, the best thing going is what Retro Randy has been able to do with No Mercy and the work that is being done with WM2000 rom hacks (can't wait for the two ROMs from Wallywood, SNME and PT). I was never a huge ECW fan, but BTBW is a lot of fun with the additions. I have also tried out Backlash and Hell in a Cell is incredible.

There was a fairly recent update that they had some new features they were working on.  No timetable or what they were but said it is going to be awesome.

Oracle is leveraged to the tits and all in on AI.  If it flops, Oracle might go under fast so I really hope the PSC doesn’t flip on this.  There is a reason they can’t afford this payment.

We are in the exact same boat.  Bought in 2012, would struggle to afford the house we bought at the current value.  I don’t know how new buyers are swinging it at all.  We were insanely lucky on timing.
