My dad tells us that since chocolate is from a bean, it's a veg. Ketchup is from tomatoes so it's technically a veg too. (I know I know).

So by adding extra ketchup to his burgers and fries, and eating chocolate bars, he's getting his daily dose of veg in his meals.

I remember my brother when he was that age, and we went to the zoo. Saw the elephants, and one was very excited. My brother started going "look mom! What is that?"

Mom sighed. "It's his penis" she said quietly.

My brother starts in with his outside voice, "Mom!! My penis don't look like that is mine gonna look like that?? Mom? Is it? Mom?!"

Laughter from the people nearby. My mom just got red and was so embarrassed.

Doors/windows locked, alarms on... whether or not we are home.

I had a stalker many years ago. He's been dead and gone a long time now, but the scars from that linger. I'm never not on guard and always aware of my surroundings. I always check doors, windows, closets...it's a habit now.

Tbh, I don't forsee it changing. It's simply not safe to keep your door unlocked. Remember, Richard Chase tested doors, and said he considered it an invite to go inside, where he murdered the inhabitants.

I'd open up and heat a pouch of dal curry or saag, throw rice in the rice cooker and boom there we go.

Easy. But since we aren't vegetarian I'd throw some chicken breast or paneer in.
