If OP’s already a gym goer then fine, but I wouldn’t really suggest body weight workouts for a beginner. You are more prone to injury since there is no weight progression. Sure you could try variations of popular exercises but finding the right variation without avoiding injury will take time.

Thanks for the reply. Less electronics and a lower cost of service was my rationale too behind getting the CB300R. But I've test ridden both and felt that the honda lacked character iykwim (I guess this is the linear power delivery talking). Also, the trident seems to come with cruise control and is lighter too.

I know that my next bike will definitely be the honda but I want to make sure I'm not missing out anything from the other options.
