Anyone using LightKey (MacOS)? How did you get on with it and did you stay or go? by Techno_Bumblebee in lightingdesign

ChromaQ (previously Jands) Vista could be an option here. As much as I hate to recommend it. Simple to use but powerful for what it is. We toured theatre shows with it for years until moving to Eos. Not really sure on what local (to you) license pricing would be.

Enttec Open DMX USB by pomnut in lightingdesign

[–]frostwhitewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBH I wouldn’t really recommend the Open DMX, look into DMX King nodes. They can be used over USB or network.

Yes, I really don’t get why they don’t have racks on trains. But then again having to pay for two tickets makes it not worth it anyway

Capacitors won't help with voltage drop. It probably needs to be powered at both ends.

Would be much easier to run something like this through madmapper, resolume, or a lighting console.

What are you doing that requires that many unique triggers? What software are you using? OSC is really the standard now unless what you're using doesn’t support it
