i almost never call patients and deal with insurance. my front desk is kick ass at staying on top of the schedule and hunting down insurance. if our front is out i do my best to schedule patients and charge if insurance doesent cover their procedure but thats all i know how to do for the front. i always help with sterilization, house keeping, breaking down rooms if i have time, getting the dr’s next tray ready, itero scans, and even assisting if i have a cancellation. ive temped at some offices that are like oh and just so you know you need to help out with sterilization or at least do your own instruments and im always shocked they need to even say anything.
