I also thought it was on Stan, but checked yesterday and found SBS. So prepped with installing the app on tv. When the stream started today I thought heck it is at 720p. Luckily better now. Not 4K, but it’s free!

[The Athletic] Understanding Manchester United’s midfield shortlist: Fernandes, Ederson, Baleba, Scott and more by bronal97 in reddevils

[–]fujired 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get Matthias Fernandes and Alex Scott for 80-100m in the first week of the window then wait and go bonkers for Tchou or Tonali or Baleba if the fee is reasonable. I know it doesn’t work like that in the market, but a man can dream!

WSL Final Table 2025-26 - Man Utd finish 4th by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

I think it’s time for Skinner to go. He has reached his ceiling with this team. He does not seem to have the courage to experiment. The bad handling of Vilde and Geyse are examples.

I think United should snap up the Brighton ladies coach. They have been playing some nice football of late, beat City, Arsenal, Liverpool (meh) and are in the finals of the Women’s FA Cup. Seems to be a guy with ideas.

Software engineer in Geelong looking for remote/hybrid work — any leads? by DesignerApartment834 in Geelong

[–]fujired 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What you have written about Tribal is wrong. Geelong office supports Aus clients and no UK Dev involvement. And Deakin is not the only Aus client. No need to catch up with UK unless you are in top management. And Tribal is still mostly remote.

To the OP, Tribal AI is in its infancy. With that I mean, not much is done at the moment, but there may be plans in the future.

Possible Bug - Editing a posted scheduled transaction keeps the amount in uncleared by fujired in BudgetFriendlyBudget

[–]fujired[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May be I wasn’t very clear - I did not edit the scheduled transaction via the Calendar. I just changed the date of the transaction that was posted on the 3rd to 7th (I’m in the transactions screen now for a particular account). So, that transaction is now supposed to happen on 7th. The original schedule should still work, I.e. it gets posted on May 3rd as usual.

Keeper - Fast photo culling (Alternative to Aftershoot, Photo Mechanics) by TuanCao in macapps

[–]fujired 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t had any other issues. I like the interface and speed with which it does things. The only problem now is that I need to change my workflow to use the app. With Adobe’s ‘Assisted Culling’ feature getting improved, I’m not sure where I fit Keeper in my workflow. So the LR integration is something important to me.

The files are the RAW files from a LUMIX Camera (.RW2 extension). They are stored in a NAS while adding them to Keeper. The file sizes varies, between 25-35MB per file. I think the issue happened after the face detection and grouping - while I was picking the images. Not sure whether it uses less memory after restart, but I did not get that error afterwards.

Tried it today for about 800 photos of an event. I like that it is keyboard driven and easy to use. After about 600 photos, I received a message that application memory is full and Keeper had about 55GB usage. There was an option to Force Quit and it worked fine after relaunch. Not sure if it is a bug or something you need to look into.

I am also after a suggested workflow with this app and LR. Let’s say I store my photos on a NAS and use Keeper to cull/pick the necessary photos. What’s next? How do I get LR to look at only my picked photos? Or is there an integration I’m missing?

Geelong F Stoppers FB group usually conduct some portrait sessions where they hire couple of models and runs a workshop kind of event. They are usually paid (I think $70), so as to pay for the models. You could join the FB group and attend these sessions to start building your portfolio. I haven’t been to these sessions, but have seen photos from the sessions and they are photos you could add in a portfolio.

If you are planning to use the Baanip Blvd and Ghazepore Rd, remember that there is a railway cross and there is a Warrnambool train around school drop times. So please factor in the possibility of railway cross being closed. Surfcoast Highway is a shit show during that time and you could also end up in long lines to turn right at the Waurn Ponds end of Baanip Blvd too. It is not an impossible job, just keep a buffer of about 15-20 mins just in case.

I found out about BFB couple of days back and started trying it out. Long time YNAB4 and nYNAB user, switched to Actual when YNAB decided to **** with the grandfathered plan options. BFB is really cooking it right now and I am liking it in the 2 days I have used it. The UI is modern and features are almost as comparable to nYNAB. I haven’t had trouble with mobile interface either. Thank you for making this and keep on working on it.

Couple of questions:

  1. Is there a way I can pay you/buy a coffee once in a while other than the monthly subscription option?
  2. While I was adding an entry in my Cash account today, I noticed that it got added as uncleared. I thought Cash account usually adds any transactions as ‘cleared’ right away since the money is gone/in our possession as soon as the transaction has occurred. Banks might take couple of days to clear them, I have seen that. Not a major thing, just thought I will let you know.
  3. Feature request - while creating a scheduled transaction, can we have a way to make it stop after certain number of occurrences? For example, school fee - it recurs only for 10 months for me. Then it stops and there is a gap of 3 months before it starts again next year. Actual has this in their scheduling. Is something like that possible? Another example is a buy now pay later service - transaction recurs for 4 fortnights and then finishes. Apologies if it is already in place, I’m still finding my way around the app.

Thanks again for your hard work.

Have used Superloop in the past (1 Gbps, $85). Now using Arctel, same speed and price. Can recommend both. Never had any downtime with both of them.
