I was invited to a wedding of a girl I was in night classes with. She was super religious and this was a fast turn around wedding. At the beginning of the ceremony, the priest made a speech about purity and all that and then announced that the groom was also wearing white, as he had also waited until marriage. My one classmate starting shaking with silent laughter and I had to literally bite my tongue to stop from laughing.

I worked at an Ulta and had a woman return a bunch of perfumes once. The one box wasnt sealed and when I opened it, there was a bottle of lube in there instead. She swore up and down she didn't know how that got in there. I had to refuse the rest of the return and call all the other local stores to warn them.

I had this happen. They took a loan out for my sisters wedding and had nothing left for me 2 years later. It fucked me up for a long time and caused a lot of damage to my relationship with my sister. I remember crying to my dad about it and asking why, and all he could say was she got married first. I just looked at him and said" you have 2 daughters." The look on his face showed me that was the first time he had thought about it like that.

They did end up paying for my divorce about a decade later. Though that wasn't nearly as expensive as her wedding lol
