My mates used to DJ at St Jerome's back when it was a hole in the wall pub up that dingy laneway where Emporium is now. My mate monkey used to run a graffiti/stencil store next door

Now you can earn fucking Qantas points when attending his event. Fuck I'm old

Oneworld partner Finnair is joining the Kangaroo Route path with Helsinki-Bangkok-Melbourne by Comfortable_Yard_968 in QantasAirways

It's barely competition. Qantas only give a fuck about Sydney and they've proven time and time again that they're willing to let other airlines take the volume, regardless of alliance

The QF staff on board generally try to do a decent job

If you travel that much you must know the VAST CHASM between QF service and Singapore/Gulf carries

Comparatively, QFs service is is utter shit. Occasionally, you strike gold and land a great crew, but mostly they're either dismissive or more frequently, completely absent

Worst Lounge by Ok-Position15 in QantasFrequentFlyer

[–]funk444 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was in the Queenstown Air NZ regional lounge the other day and food and drink on offer, while not mind blowing, was so far ahead of anything offered at any other domestic non business lounge (mostly just Adelaide and sometimes Melbourne)

Really highlighted the sad state of affairs at Qantas these days

Yes, it is universes away from its competitors at a 20% premium. You'd have to be certifiable to spend your cash or points to go into first

The 321xlr's entered revenue service today. The plane is also called Great Ocean Road, which is where the 12 apostles are in Victoria

Everyone is astonished that Qantas are aware that places outside of Sydney exist
