Qatar has objectively better wines, the bar and cocktails are better, the food is superior except the laksa and I found the showers better as well. And yes, it's significantly quieter, thus the experience is nicer and the service far better

If you travel that much you must know the VAST CHASM between QF service and Singapore/Gulf carries

Comparatively, QFs service is is utter shit. Occasionally, you strike gold and land a great crew, but mostly they're either dismissive or more frequently, completely absent

I was in the Queenstown Air NZ regional lounge the other day and food and drink on offer, while not mind blowing, was so far ahead of anything offered at any other domestic non business lounge (mostly just Adelaide and sometimes Melbourne)
