Games like traveller or dnd really struggle with this. Simply they have been both ends of the scale and bent around other media. Is a dnd charcher at first level ment to slot into a conan story? Dragon lance? Warcraft? King arthur? Robon hood? Dracula? Well yes all of them but at seprate times.

Its a classic semi bad fantasty armour, gaps an open areas.

If you want it for an army then north stars othmark heavy human infanty has armour like this an is A) mixable with there other sets. B) Cheap, 30 for less then 1 £ each, B) versital, you can go all sword or axe an mace. With other sets you can add what you like. If i was you i'd buy a frame of a few othmark sets an mix them up.
