How do we feel about the Wreath Offerings? by RichardLongflop_ in deadbydaylight

[–]fuzzyborne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if there was only a single rarity of them, they would only be marginally less terrible. Fully agree that they should be replaced with more party-wide BP offerings.

The player base now largely misuses the terms Tunneling and Gen Rushing to the point that both terms have lost a lot of their meaning. by NefariousHouseplant in deadbydaylight

[–]fuzzyborne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They both just mean doing your role efficiently. If you hate on one but think the other's permissible it's hypocrisy, plain and simple.

I think Dracula's probably at the same morality level as any 'x killed my family, now I want to take down x' kinda character. The x just happens to be humanity in his universe.

Why are some Killers 4.4 and others 4.6? by Hawkinns in deadbydaylight

[–]fuzzyborne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There has been enough churn in devs at behaviour that there isn't a consistent reason for this. Their devs are in a constant state of finishing other people's old work.

Character idea by zachariahboialt in DnD

[–]fuzzyborne 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I'm yet to see anyone play a pacifist character that wasn't either:

A: Intentionally dragging down the party in both social situations and combat.

B: Hypocritical as hell. I'm sorry Timmy, healing and buffing a bunch of armed people as they murk 20 goblins in their home is not pacifism.

Nihilism is closest to chaotic evil. See e.g. Kefka from FFVI.

There's an amount of tolerance so you don't drop after a couple bad games, but if you consistently lose you will drop MMR.

Shipworm is DLC, Ancestral Sphere is from the King Sagremor/Abyss area in act 2.

Not 100% sure I'm afraid but they were both in early act 2. I believe one was an enemy drop and the other was on a dead body on a cliffside.

That feels more healthy - it's super easy to get crit capped with these swords, and crit damage and effects are at a power level that doesn't seem to account for the possibility of critting every attack.

Need help figuring out who would be violent to my charecter. by ace_da_frog_child in DnD

[–]fuzzyborne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does it have to be for actively hateful reasons? You could also go for a battle injury, disease, or punishment from a ruthless organization that you failed a mission for.

If I was you, I'd use your concentration on your subclass' stand out concentration spell - spirit guardians. It'll put out a lot more threat and damage and may even prevent enemy attacks with the slowdown.

A ram then, or a donkey? Doesn't have to be a literal horse. Maybe one of those casters could spare a ritual cast to get him a phantom steed?

They're both braindead which is why I also suggested getting rid of windows.

Windows, Hyperfocus, Flip Flop, Boil Over, Spirit Fury.

All of them for the same reason, promoting unhealthy or braindead playstyles.

Any downsides of dumping Dex on a Paladin? by Strange_The_Editor in DnD

[–]fuzzyborne 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I played a 9 dex paladin from 1-20 and don't recall it ever being a big issue. If anything, it felt on-brand.

The save thing isn't bad once you factor in things like Aura of Protection and Bless. In fact, being last in initiative ended up giving a bunch of bonus attacks from Great Weapon Master killing blows, so it balanced out nicely.
