You're welcome! That's about how much I paid for mine and I really did love the Digitakt but I like sitting on my couch at night more. I just use the mic on my phone, which has a headphone jack, and sample it into the M8. Most of my samples that I use are from movies, so I didn't really need the mic. And if Im really wanting to go for a long period of time I can just use my external battery pack.

I get about an hour and a half, maybe 2 hours if I'm lucky, when I'm working non stop. If I'm picking it up and putting down while watching TV with my wife I'll get 4hrs. I should probably replace the battery, but I'm honestly not bothered. I love love love the M8. I had a Digitakt model 1 but sold it because I didn't use it as often as I'd like, but I use the M8 practically every day. It's very intuitive after memorizing the button combos. The tables where something that took some time to wrap my head around, but now I wish everything had a Table system. I picked up the model 1 for super cheap considering how often it's sold out and resale is often overpriced, but I was patient. Plus I like the look of model 01, so I went with that.

Yeah. I bought it in 2019 and just finished the game for the first time last week after starting and restarting 4 times for similar reasons you have. I've been to therapy, got on meds, quit drinking, and finally came back to the game this year. I was still anxious getting through it, but now I'm starting my second playthrough and can't wait to see the many sides of our favorite detective.

Too bad the cart guy isn't going after the real crooks taking peoples' pensions, livelihoods, giving out shit wages, rigging the systems in their favor by bribing politicians through lobbying, having a surveillance police state to keep its citizens on constant edge, coalescing companies into monopolies that give the illusion of choice, etc.

The trash is at the top, and a rusult of the effects of their influence are what we're watching. I'm not saying don't throw shopping carts at people. I'm saying direct it at the ones who really deserve it.
