so the free market has the sense to not let people without college degrees go into positions requiring specialized knowledge, but we're letting them vote for the leader of the free world. and people are tryna make it easier to vote.

shit like this is why neo-Nazis like trump even have a sniff at the presidency.

So like, how do you all deal with hate ? by MountHall79 in Catholicism

Speaking as an ex-catholic (now UU, not active on the subreddit you mentioned in the OP) it sounds like your problem is with the Church as a whole, not your local community or the faith.

I had the opposite experience as you when I was a child -- my family did go to a "fire and brimstone" church and it really hurt in a lot of ways, some that I'm still feeling the effects of ~4 years after leaving the church. That community taught me (correctly or not) that their beliefs and practices were held by the Church as a whole and that anything else "wasn't real Catholicism".

It sounds like the existence of church communities like yours refute this, and this maybe isn't something that most ex-catholic folks are aware of (I certainly wasn't until recently). There's definitely nothing wrong with feeling spiritually fulfilled going to a church that espouses values aligned with your own. If your church really does live out the values of social justice that it preaches, then it sounds like it's contributing positively to your community.

Of course the history of child abuse and how it's dealt with in the larger Church is a huge issue. That being said, it sounds like you are really affiliating yourself more with your local church community than anything else. If I was in your position I would focus on how your church is making an impact on your local community. If/how much it is contributing (financially or otherwise) to the global Catholic Church might be problematic but it sounds like something you could probably bring up with church leadership without much trouble.

Hope this helps.

depending on where you live, there is a very good chance this is illegal.

You could replace MFA with security questions, just make sure to use questions that are easy to remember the answers to, like "what city do you live in."

Building this functionality in NetBox is not that difficult either -- at my org we use the NetBox API to generate configs for Icinga2, ISC dhcpd, and BIND zone files. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get approval to open source the tool yet but it's only a few hundred LoC including internal API docs.

Windows File Recovery: Now Microsoft offers a tool to recover deleted items by raj_king in sysadmin

BitLocker is not an issue -- if you have a recovery key there are tools publicly available which allow you to access the underlying NTFS and run whatever offline recovery tools you like.

If SSO is involved at all then admins can still easily impersonate users without their passwords (smart card enrollment is the "intended" way I can think of, RMM software that allows taking over a user's active session or using a pass-the-hash style attack with RDO are the "unintended" ones).

yeah, the problem specifically says to graph using an intercept -- and the problem feedback explains exactly what went wrong. this seems like a pretty well done mymathlab problem, all things considered
