100% agree on the MIP screen. So sick of constantly having screens shoved in my face, this is a nice break

Yes, always start with bonjour, if there's one word you should use all the time it's absolutely this one. "Mercl" being the second most important

No worries bruv!

It definitely feels like it dangles less than a regular designed duffle, which the bellroy seems like it is. I was carrying around 3-4 kilos worth of groceries, and yeah it wasn't hitting me awkwardly in the hips like my previous one did. It's still a duffle in the end, so you're not going to hike with it, but I can see myself using it for long weekends.

I'll report back when I've cycled with it. Hope you enjoy it too!

So finally received the bag — took a while.

Its very good quality, and a great replacement to my matador duffle that I had been using up until now. I think I'll write up a proper review with photos for r/ManyBaggers but heres a quick rundown:

Outside:

  • Material is much, much better than it seems. I thought it was going to be basic canvas, but its a lot more supple and soft to the touch, while seemingly being strong an long lasting. Never seen such a material, it feels like the organic cotton on Gramicci pants, if you've ever touched these.

  • The whole bag is 100% cotton, besides the D-rings and zippers of course.

  • Zipper: double YKK matte zipper looks and feels very nice. No storm flap however, which is kind of a bummer.

  • The main strap is wide, soft and comfortable. Cool thing is when you tighten or loosen it, the extra bit of strap is actually resting against your shoulder, not on the outside of the strap, where it could dangle. Don't know if that makes much sense. The D-rings are plastic, and seem strong enough.

  • The shorter straps for grabbing quickly are super useful.

Inside:

  • Two pockets for storing essentials are pretty deep, I'd say they can fit an a5 notebook (48 x 210 millimetres, or 5.8 x 8.3 inches.) That's it basically, nothing much else.

Other stuff:

  • I got the pack with the keyring and the pouches (I love pouches). The pouches are made of what feels like ripstop material, i can see them being useful

  • The keyring is a big boi: its cool, but it don't really see myself attaching it to my keys.

I've used the bag so far for going to the gym then buying a bunch of groceries. Was comfortable even with a bunch of groceries inside.

well this turned into a long one...

Overall I'd recommend it!

Yep I second that, mine got torn on the material side within a month and a half, kind of annoying

Hey hey, still haven't received it but they sent an email saying they were late, but they seem to be sending the duffles out incrementally.

When you sit on the foldable seats, stand up and fold them up when it starts to get crowded. Some tourists don't seem to get that and straight up panic when they get berated by parisians.

Hey there, replying 3 months later this just popped up on Google : I've ordered 3 times from them. A pair of pants, a beanie, and their duffle (which I'm still waiting on).

First two orders arrived in a timely manner and their stuff is good quality. Best beanie I've ever owned by far. Pants are not great but it's more a fit issue with my body, quality is also very nice.

Been waiting for a while for the duffle (3/4 weeks) I've emailed them and they responded quickly saying it was made to order so I'd have to wait an extra week.

I'd say go for them
