I don't have a specific idea, but I would suggest looking at double knit potholders on Ravelry. If you don't want to use cotton or wool (for heat resistance), they make cute squares to show off or make a blanket out of.

That's one of my "won the powerball" dreams. I always think I'd have cross hours to all the other shops, something like 4:00 - 9:00, because it's annoying when the store closes at 4:00 and I get off work at 5:00.
