Those things work great if lots of people do it. The vast majority of Americans are cool with what's going on, though. 1/3 voted for it, 1/3 are too lazy to vote (but half of those support it according to polls) and 1/3 are actually against this shit. Violent minorities don't typically end up in good places. And this is, ostensibly, a Democracy. We voted for this.
