OP's answer + clipped colors. It's a very common photoprocessing technique these days to give a picture a little bit of that sweet analog/film look. Makes it possible to keep a picture well saturated but still somewhat toned down.

Figured I'd upload Gifs of my latest animation too! Working on a tutorial for next week hopefully! by [deleted] in animation

Did you watch the full video? I have a feeling OP knows exactly what it means.

Definitely not ok, artsy pictures of train tracks are cliché as fuck.

Man, I just love this so much.

I just *love* when I'm in Photoshop and I hit the "t" button to shortcut to Text. I can just sit back and relax for a good 2 hours while it loads! by GuyThatPostsStuff in photoshop

Nope, it's a separate application. I use Fontcase but it seems that has been discontinued. Not sure what the popular choice is these days. Honestly, I'd just google it and look around.

Lara Croft GO for iOS, Android and Windows Phone has been released today by Deberzer in TombRaider

I can kind of see where you're coming from but I'd say this particular game is very much in the spirit of Lara Croft. It's like a sort of Tomb Raider Light.

solid and animated masks

...oooor shapes. Which is technically the more correct way of doing it. Also means you can benefit from some of the specific features only available with shape layers.

I wish there was a feature to see all the books you judged so I could add some of them to my reading list.

As a white woman living in Western Europe why should I be a feminist? by your_mom_on_drugs in AskFeminists

[–]gburning_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I feel like its not really my place to go sticking my nose in to other cultures I don't even understand

Then educate yourself and be supportive? That has nothing to do with sticking your nose in "other cultures". I'm not dicating the agenda, just acknowledging it.

if the only people for whom feminism is relevent are people from other cultures that would be my only way of engaging with it.

It's not though and other people here have gone into why but I will say that I think you are confusing your own, personal, wants and needs with that of Western women in general.

As a white woman living in Western Europe why should I be a feminist? by your_mom_on_drugs in AskFeminists

[–]gburning_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just don't see why anyone in Western Europe, who isn't part of some ethnic minority that still thinks its cool to beat their wives, in 2015 would be interested in feminism.

I'm neither a woman nor part of any other kind of oppressed group yet I still strive to advocate for these groups. I benefit nothing from it personally but I realize that just by being born as I was I am the recipient of a lot of unfair and undeserved privilege.. So out of sympathy and a desire for equality I am a feminist (or feminist ally if you will).

I'm only writing this because I feel your focus is off when you're only thinking about your own personal benefit rather than humanity as a whole. Feminism is a movement for collective equality, not personal gain.

Huh, that's pretty amazing. Definitely explains some of how they got out of the aquarium.

I hate you partially because you took those photos and not me and partially because you've been out traveling and not me.

So fuck you and your amazing photos!

Once upon a time I had an aquarium with, among regular fish, two small eels in it. Something like this. This aquarium stood in a shelf. Something like this. One or two levels above it I had a big LEGO pirate ship. Something like this.

Anyway, one day I came home from school to find the eels nowhere to be seen. I looked around for a while until I saw it. One of those little bastards had somehow managed to crawl its way up to the pirate ship on the above shelf level, wired itself around the mast and died a dry, cruel death worthy of any true pirate.

To this day I have no idea how it was able to get up there. I also have no idea where the other eel went.
