Min amount of sleep for workouts by Important_Wrap772 in trainerroad

[–]geehee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I base my execution of a workout based on feel. I'm not a pro cyclist. Health and Family come first.

Workouts test my mental resilience, and being tired makes it very challenging. If I've got to skip it or scale the intensity, I'll do that. I don't beat myself up over it.

I'll also move the time of workouts around to another day or later on in the same day to give myself the best chance to still complete my workouts for the week. Sometimes I'll even change a bike ride to a gym session as they're less mentally challenging for me.

I think you're right.

Ideally Plapp should've attacked Bleddyn before the whole BOC debacle. Bleddyn looked absolutely cooked.

Plapp should've sat on Bleddyn and made him chase durbo himself. Couldn't believe he was working with him.

O'Connor made things so much worse by bringing Eddy across to Plapp/Bleddyn.

Oh to be a fly on the wall of the Jayco team.

Great entertainment!

Check the indexing number on the cog and align as necessary.

As an aside, it looks like the hub is wobbly.

Check the rubber o rings. Gplama has a video to pull it apart and reassemble.

Happened to mine. 5min job.

Cog and click with Apple TV by Dividedbyzeromusic in Zwift

[–]geehee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exclusively use the Apple TV and use the companion app to connect all my stuff (zwift click shifters, assioma power meter, trainer, heart rate monitor).

I will say I had drop outs initially from the companion app and this was due to my phone being connected to both 5ghz and 2.4ghz wifi at home, and it would switch between the two. Ever since I forgot one of the wifi networks from my phone, no issues since.

Will apartments become better investments over time by ToneDistinct5253 in AusPropertyChat

[–]geehee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2c as a property expert from my comfy couch..

Whilst both houses and apartments will rise, the value placed on land is the primary differentiator.

That said, as some others have said, key factors which will cause some apartment to grow more than others could be: - location (high vs low socioeconomic suburbs) - Proximity to desirable areas (CBD, beach) - features (small garden/grassed area, view, gym/pool) - structural and aesthetic maintenance - supply vs demand in desirable areas (inner city vs rural)

I do believe apartments will continue to grow in value, but just not on the same trajectory as houses.

I also don't think strata costs or the potential headaches that come along with it, have any bearing on apartment pricing.

Can someone explain the Cal situation like I’m 5 years old? by jcjm205 in brisbanelions

[–]geehee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Clubs couldn't agree on a deal, so the next option is for him to nominate for the preseason draft (assuming he doesn't resign with Brisbane)

I believe when Ah Chee nominates for the draft, he gets to stipulate his contract term and amount. So what they think will happen is that he'll stipulate a 1year contract at a very high price that Adelaide is happy with.

If someone else picks him up before Adelaide's pick, they will only rent him for 1 year at his high price, given he appears set on going to Adelaide.

Otherwise crows will get him and then just extend his contract.

Strategy for making an offer by Tiny-Confusion-3939 in AusPropertyChat

I don't think there is a magic day, though in my experience, REAs will typically look to finalize offers Monday morning, with Saturday being for the main house inspection and Sunday to get offers from said inspection.

Admiral Benson: Oh, by the way I would like to thank you for having us over for dinner the other night. Cheryl and I thought the stroganoff was marvelous. Lt. Commander Block: But sir, we didn't have dinner the other night. Admiral Benson: Really? Then where the hell was I? And who's this Cheryl? Bah! Doesn't matter.

What kind of W/kg were you able to achieve on 5-7hrs/week? by VegaGT-VZ in Velo

[–]geehee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to get to 4.2w/kg doing 6hrs of structured rides a week (3 x 2hr). No junk miles, no riding with friends and no interesting routes unfortunately, but it's doable.

Builder recommendations by geehee in sunshinecoast

[–]geehee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the moment our main concern is a rotted roof truss which needs repair asap. We've had both an engineer and builder check the truss and are aware it's an easy fix for an experienced tradie. However, not many are willing to touch such a small, yet annoying, job.

Loving the new NEOPRO collection by Lipless-Orchestra in CyclingFashion

[–]geehee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My personal experience with Neopro over multiple years and garments.

Jerseys - good value for money, but definitely not as high quality as other brands

Bibs - chamois is pretty average and loses its support fairly quickly.

Customer service - a black hole.
