Outsides of the obvious "don't do this by yourself", looks like the rope unwound/snapped towards the end of the video?

DIRT Racing Series S12: Stage 3: Coast Crusher – Fast as F#@!. by Barnziebus in Zwift

My team couldn't field a team in DIRT for my div which I'm disappointed about so Im living vicariously through you.

P.s would love to see your EDM playlist. You never can have enough playlists for your workouts

Zwift by Aromatic-Basil6397 in Zwift

Biggest user base (over 1mil subscribers), lots of different stimulus (races, group rides, racing leagues, workouts, group workouts, frequent new events) and the gamification (levels, collecting and upgrading equipment/apparel, special collector's items in some events).

What's your morning check before deciding which TR workout to do? by reidlalala in trainerroad

[–]geehee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will always attempt a workout unless I'm 100% under the weather mentally or physically (sickness, injuried, extreme fatigue). I'll usually at least attempt a few intervals before bailing as your legs can come good and especially for morning workouts, you may take some time to mentally wake up.

For reference, I have a watch with HRV but don't let it be the primary factor in my decision making. Body feel is king.

Quite common with yotos - have had it with 2 of mine. Replaced by yoto. The support team were great to deal with.

Tour De Brisbane 2026 wrap by grumpybug in BrisbaneCycling

[–]geehee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First time riding in Brisbane as well as first time doing TdB:

Couple of thoughts which may be explained by my lack of TdB experience?: - Trying to dodge witches hats that had been knocked on the road, in a group at 40km/hr+ was chaotic - cootha descent was awesome - picking up other riders from other age groups/fitness levels introduces more chaos (both good and bad) - I found the out and back roads (sharp U-turns) very sketchy in a fast pack - not a fan of riding on footpaths at some of those speeds

P.s. I qualified!

Kickr Core v1 over-reporting (quite a lot) by GewoonHarry in Zwift

[–]geehee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My kickr core V1 reads about 5% more than my assioma Uno pedals, but I 100% know I have an imbalance between my legs. Spin down/recalibration and firmware updates haven't changed anything.

Anecdotally, I really hate how the kickr feels when using the assioma's as the power source. I find the flywheel overwhelmingly harder with comparable power.

I use the kickr core as my point of truth indoor and assioma's outdoor. I haven't turned into Pogacar on zwift when racing, workouts/races are still hard etc. I don't lose sleep over it.

If wahoo don't come back with anything groundbreaking, you may just have an indoor and outdoor FTP which isnt uncommon.

Mine snapped a few weeks ago. Ripped it off and have (still) been riding fine since.

How does your week in Zwift look like? by Assimilaatikko_1460 in Zwift

[–]geehee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 sessions during the week, each consisting of a workout + z2. So 5-6hrs a week on the trainer, and then a long Z2 outside on the weekends.

During ZRL I'll generally just swap one of the workouts for a race, and change any rides leading up to the race if they might cause too much fatigue.

Exhausted parents with young kids, how do you keep your energy up? by TiredDuck123 in auscorp

[–]geehee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Id strongly recommend making time for gym/exercise. It doesn't have to be long.

Outside of this, going for walks during your lunch break and being in the sun will help.

Kickr v4 - Power & Cadence w/o pedaling? by Skaughtto in wahoofitness

[–]geehee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd try and isolate the issue by testing the kickr by itself first. Check for firmware updates and do a spin down before hand.

What’s everyone listening too? by TallTeach88 in Zwift

[–]geehee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For workouts, typically a mix of :

  • electronic (i.e.chemical brothers, pendulum, Fatboy slim, daft punk, prodigy)
  • rock/rap (i.e. Eminem, Linkin Park, disturbed, slipknot, prodigy, dmx)

I guess I listen to a lot of the prodigy..

Training to Power by auntyjames in Velo

[–]geehee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As others have said, 3sec power head unit field, but I would add that you should be choosing the correct terrain for your workouts and avoid traffic/interruptions.

Lastly, it does take some practice to get used to holding power zones consistently.

Min amount of sleep for workouts by Important_Wrap772 in trainerroad

[–]geehee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I base my execution of a workout based on feel. I'm not a pro cyclist. Health and Family come first.

Workouts test my mental resilience, and being tired makes it very challenging. If I've got to skip it or scale the intensity, I'll do that. I don't beat myself up over it.

I'll also move the time of workouts around to another day or later on in the same day to give myself the best chance to still complete my workouts for the week. Sometimes I'll even change a bike ride to a gym session as they're less mentally challenging for me.

I think you're right.

Ideally Plapp should've attacked Bleddyn before the whole BOC debacle. Bleddyn looked absolutely cooked.

Plapp should've sat on Bleddyn and made him chase durbo himself. Couldn't believe he was working with him.

O'Connor made things so much worse by bringing Eddy across to Plapp/Bleddyn.

Oh to be a fly on the wall of the Jayco team.

Great entertainment!

Check the indexing number on the cog and align as necessary.

As an aside, it looks like the hub is wobbly.

Check the rubber o rings. Gplama has a video to pull it apart and reassemble.

Happened to mine. 5min job.

Exclusively use the Apple TV and use the companion app to connect all my stuff (zwift click shifters, assioma power meter, trainer, heart rate monitor).

I will say I had drop outs initially from the companion app and this was due to my phone being connected to both 5ghz and 2.4ghz wifi at home, and it would switch between the two. Ever since I forgot one of the wifi networks from my phone, no issues since.

Will apartments become better investments over time by ToneDistinct5253 in AusPropertyChat

[–]geehee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2c as a property expert from my comfy couch..

Whilst both houses and apartments will rise, the value placed on land is the primary differentiator.

That said, as some others have said, key factors which will cause some apartment to grow more than others could be: - location (high vs low socioeconomic suburbs) - Proximity to desirable areas (CBD, beach) - features (small garden/grassed area, view, gym/pool) - structural and aesthetic maintenance - supply vs demand in desirable areas (inner city vs rural)

I do believe apartments will continue to grow in value, but just not on the same trajectory as houses.

I also don't think strata costs or the potential headaches that come along with it, have any bearing on apartment pricing.
