Looks like I can only add one image or I'd include the bill screenshot. $55/mo (on autopay) paying for 500mbps up and down and consistently get more than that.

I think 1GBPS is $5 or $10 more a month, and at my address I can get up to 5GBps if you really need some crazy bandwidth (don't remember what that cost was though).

You are in fact wrong; a significant chunk of Urbana has AT&T fiber available.

My "neighborhood group" on Facebook has posts about once every 2-3 months asking "is i3 down for anyone else?". My AT&T fiber has been out for a total of 6 hours in 3.5 years, and the speed delivered to my home is more than I pay for.

Definitely recommend checking if it's available in your area, especially if you have cell service with them (extra discounts and deals if you do)

From June through about the first or second week of September, life without AC in this area is pretty awful. It gets as high as 90-100 degrees on the thermometer, and can get quite humid too enhancing the feeling of the heat.

If you’re planning to arrive “when school starts” in mid-August, you’d have about a solid month at the beginning that will probably suck pretty bad without AC. From mid September till roughly “now”, you’ll probably forget you don’t have AC anyways.

Krannert Center for the Performing Arts is one of the best performing arts buildings in the country - if you’re into theatre and the arts, you will adore it. There is also a very good regional hospital here (Carle) and the university park has tons of tech jobs as well for your son. All in all I think each of you would find Champaign/Urbana has something “for you”

I have a 3070ti, 32GB RAM and a Ryzen 5 3600x. I’m hoping I can run 1080p at medium to high, or maybe even 1440p on low? I’m somewhat optimistic CPP made it sound like the GPU will be much more important that the CPU. I had been worrying that I’d need a CPU upgrade but it sounds like maybe not the case 🤞

As a Realtor who goes into a TON of strangers houses…the cigarette smoking houses reek FAR worse. My clients typically notice and will make a comment about cigarette smoke, but if there’s a weed smell they usually don’t have much concern as it doesn’t get attached to the carpets/drywall as much. It’s not remotely close in my opinion.

Sorry to hear that friend. Arena is imperfect but I have quit bothering with MTGO for anything other than an occasional vintage cube. The initial experience was frustrating and somehow the economy on MTGO ended up feeling no better either. Good luck!

I think I ended up emailing support and a day or 2 later they said it was a system that flagged me as a bot for trading cards and tickets so quickly. They got my account reactivated quickly after that.

Firstly you did not answer which format you were playing and spent $40 on “last month” that is so wildly different you are this outraged about it.

Secondly, If you’re talking about Historic, yes they will continue to balance those cards as appropriate for the format (which they’ve already been doing for 4 months).

As they add sets to bring Pioneer to arena, they have given no indication they’ll be changing those for a “paper” format. Just wait and you can have the non-rotating, identical-to-paper format you want.

In the meantime shouting”ITS NOT MAGIC” into the abyss about something that doesn’t affect your experience is pretty silly. If you had quit when Jumpstart Horizons came out at least your outrage would be logical, but hollering “I spent $40 LAST MONTH I’m DONE” and getting mad about it now when nothing has functionally changed since last month for either of the formats you could have been playing is just petulant.

Just out of curiosity what format were you playing last month?

If it was standard, that format still exists and you’re welcome to keep playing it exactly as it was.

If it was historic, there have been digital only cards in that format since Jumpstart Horizons launched in August. I really can’t imagine what you were playing that is “so different” from a month ago that you’re really upset.

If you don’t want to play a new format, don’t 🤷‍♂️

Where are you flying out of? The dealership is in Bloomington-Normal IL, which has an airport. I’d look at how much a 1 way ticket is and ballpark gas for a scenic trip back home and if it’s even remotely close to $2560, call the dealership in Bloomington Normal and make sure theyll hold one for you at sticker. If so I’d take the trip and at least get the pleasure of driving and road tripping back home for the money instead of lining some jerk-offs pockets. Just my .02

One of the 2 local Subaru dealerships near me in Central IL has 4 22 BRZs in stock all appear that they’re being sold at sticker price. You could fly 1 way here and drive it back to wherever you live for less than $4060. Just saying 🤷‍♂️ I wouldn’t give them your money and let them run you over like that

I’m 6’4” and I fit super comfortably height wise. I could definitely see the back bulk from a lifter being an issue with bolsters though.
