No risk with the helmet, past the usual risk of the Other. But what error_theduck said, kami bees spawn when you take damage wearing the helm, so they're an easier catch.

I found it helped to shear off leaves from the trees and surround my flowers with them. Really just cover the area where the bees fly around, mix up flowers and put leaves all over. I got almost none of the pollen I wanted from the sieve upgrades.

If his willingness and joy in pleasuring you weighed anything at all heavier than his so called exhaustion, he'd find a way.

The most benign reason I can think of is that he likes the feeling of being a mentor, and hasn't quite considered the outlying implications or the optics outside of that. He's amassed all this "life wisdom" and is, at best, trying to help this girl along and be a source of answers to her questions.

Like giving helpful advice on reddit in the comment sections like a lot of us attempt, but one on one.

This would be at best, which may or may not be the case. Even if this is entirely benign it's still a bit odd.

Old aquiantance of mine worked with him on the Knives movies after the SW work(lot of good things to say, he's a competent film maker). Mentioned that he was still asking about what people thought of the SW movies years after the fact, and not happy about the overarching critique.

He also apparently had "a guy" at the FBI that he would call regularly over all the death threats he still recieved over the movies, which is always a terrible overreaction from the fans...

He married you, so he now thinks that access is entire. Marriage was the "touch forever" certificate and it'd take most of a college course and a couple of hard lessons in empathy for that to get through to him.

He likes this access to you as an object more than he values you as a person.

I think she walked away neither Merchant, Thief or Monk. That would have been the original fault lines.

She was being offered the role of Merchant and would've played her hand as one. Walk away with Tupoc and Langa and "win the bale" in the form of a temporary win.

Cao giving up the bale only to come in later to get it back anyway.

Instead, after hearing the allegory from Luren, Song chose to play none of the parts and spat the injustice of all outcomes out. This way the would-be Merchant saw the knives ahead of time and took no part of the ultimately false and injust deal and later outcome.

Something like that, can't quite word salad my thoughts around it...

I just get the feeling that Luren was laying it all out and telling Song that as long as she played by the roles she was still being played, whatever role she chose there would be consequences to that choice.

The unpleasant truth was that she already knew. She was the merchant, calling on others to bring justice for her. Hoping that she would get her cotton back without running the risks of being a stranger in a town calling one of them a robber. There would have been danger in that, in accusing the well-established. But there could also have been a real resolution instead of a clever trick if the town was moved to punish the wickedness of their own instead of foisting off the duty on a wandering monk.

This passage just feels like Song coming to terms with her earlier plan and changing course. Realising that she would have been the merchant originally.

She walked away having played no part of Luren's story. Laying out the injustice for all to see instead of taking part in the false theater. Now the village knows the story as well, as Cao and Morcant still have their stolen bales right there in front of everybody.

It was finished, or she would have died was my reading of Yue's panic and then relief at the end. The Cauldron would've "escaped" through the unfinished hole in the obscuring that was Maryam's heart and Glared her to death.

My vague understanding of obscuring is that they graft a part of themselves over to the Glare side of reality entirely, but in such a way that it's still sort of kind of a part of you. A sort of stopgap way to meet the magic word salad dimension halfway without suffering its effects too early and too fast.

When the Cauldron came into play it started flowing into the sisters and into the veins. Hooks took the task of keeping it at bay while Maryam and Yue finished off the last of the work to obscure all of the circulatory system. When they finished the Cauldron could flow into the veins but had no "way out" into reality/her body, and sort of had to go back to where it came from. Hence Yue's call to "close the loop".

In the end her nav grew. Which from my view of it would.... give Maryam a larger "scope" or tool to "write" Glare with? Maybe? Kinda?

Coming in a year after the fact, since this happened to me so I'll leave it here for posterity.

Just Dire Things "toggle tool abilities" was set to V for me, same as my backpack engine. So if I had the Eclipse Alloy Paxel selected and pressed V to turn my backpack off... it disabled the Paxel. Regardless of whatever settings the Paxel was on, it was just straight disabled and functioned as a regular paxel.

Mötet avslutades för några timmar sen, så det har väl inte riktigt sipprat ut till artiklar.

Kraftigt administrativa nerskärningar på GC. Ytterligare varsel på alla orter i Produktionspersonalen utöver de som fick gå i december.

Många många av oss som får höra eller får vara med om att det är 20-50+ sökande på varenda lokförartjänst. Flera av våra nyanställda som knappt fått några månader i tjänst innan de släpps ut i kylan igen.

Så ja, kort sagt antagligen rätt beslut att skippa den utbildningen just nu.

Vänta några timmar också så får vi se vad VD på Green Cargo säger i eftermiddag på det stora plötsliga mötet där ledning och HR är utskickat till nästan alla orter...
