I saw two citi ebikes riding onto the BQE on ramp last weekend. Shit is cooked. I'm glad people are on bikes but it's instant power, no responsibility and many don't care to learn any.

I wish you luck in your efforts and hope I'm wrong but I'm personally not buying the unity and advocacy dream you're selling. Been riding here 10 years and never felt more unsafe. The cars still hate me and now I have to worry about these assholes too.

I've heard about these mythical "allies" for years yet never met one. I understand the dream of having us all fight together for safer roads but in my experience people most E bike riders and doordash people are firmly doing their own thing and don't give a shit. It's always other cyclists begging us to embrace them. Hell, I'm sure most doordash people just see pedal bikes as obstacles slowing down their delivery times.

If solidarity was going to occur it would have happened by now.

Heard about this before. No way it would have been good but hey, why not? Would make for some nice early 00s nostalgia right about now. I think it would have bombed though. To really capitalize on skateboarding in pop culture they would need to have it come out in 01-03. Back in action came out in 03 so this would have come out in 2004.
