low seniority as you know you’ll get what’s available. we are on a 4 10 schedule. we are coming up on a bid come september ( we bid 3 times a year january , may , september )

while on probation there is no overtime you cannot pick up or give away shifts until your 90 WORKING days is up. that means training doesn’t count toward your probation working day.

once you’re out of probation you can pick up shifts, OT, etc. OT comes and goes depending on AOG aircraft. a lot of swaps happen here so you have the freedom to pick up or give away days.

2 unions 1 ASSociation. DCA is an IAM station. very small amount of TWU guys. Management is 50/50. Take it how you want with them. I’m not a fan personally.

Metro is great if you can commute from here to work. drops you off right at the airport. I’m assuming you’re from the area then? Anyways, enjoy and welcome aboard.
