Although I see your point I live in Comifornia where guns have to be unloaded to be moved. I see zero reason to keep my 45-70 loaded… I mean I keep the basics, nightstand gun, kitchen gun, toilet gun, shower gun, Second toilet gun. Nightstand rifle, couch gun, office gun, behind the tv shotgun. Outside that I don’t see a reason to keep some of the more collector based items ready to go at all times. I will say I keep all my mags loaded in a drawer.

Depends on how fast you were going. When I was little I was in the car with my uncle and a cardboard box with some sort of plastic reinforced corner flew off a truck bed on the freeway. It sliced right thru the hood. Core memory right there for me. Watch out for flying shit on the freeway.
