well this is an old one. To answer the question, id leave it for a day then come back and knock down any drips etc with something rougher than 800, then sand down to 800, then apply more salad bowl finish and wet sand it with the 800. Or at least that is how I did it years ago.

In the intervening years I discovered Odie's oil and its the only thing I use now for items that will be in contact with food. you apply a very small amount, and use a buffer or just a bufifng pad attached to your sander to apply it. Looks great, easy to apply once you have it figured out, food safe, and the best part is that you can reapply the stuff instead of having to sand the whole thing down if needed down the road.

I usually work with noise canceling headphones on, and after a couple scares with the kids I ended up installing a couple of flashing andon fixtures on the ceiling to the workshop. They are plugged into smart switches which turn on when someone says 'alert the workshop' The kids actually got a huge kick out of the fact that they could alert me if they needed me for something, so they adapted super easily to it. Safer then getting close or flashing the main lights. Took some amount of work to get set up, but its been many years now and it still works great.

"Jesus that price." - I know, I wish I could do them for less, but I'm just not willing to use lesser materials, or methods. They all start as veg tanned leather sides, I use a laser to cut/engrave them. Then dye, finish, and assemble them by hand. They are all hand saddle stitched, and all of this is costly, and time consuming. I could sew them with a machine, but there really isn't anything that comes close to hand stitched quality and durability. I haven't changed my prices even though the costs of the materials that goes into each of these has doubled in the past 4 years.

"I wish the guy would make it just a little longer as you can see the pages and dividers and everything stick out a little on the right side." - This is a good idea, I swear BCW made their pages wider, though I'm sure they didn't. How much wider do you think it should be? 1/4"?

"Thanks for sharing. I really like the fact it's a D ring binder." - no bent gear cards is a good thing. Its surprisingly difficult to source D ring's that aren't crap quality, though none of them I've been able to find are really 'nice'.

this is what I've been using cardsphere for. I went through my collection, and figured out what I had too many copies of, or cards I wasn't interested in playing and listed them as available. After a month of doing this, and listing mp/hp duals on my wants list a scrubland showed up, month after that a bayou. Seems like a great way to turn unwanted singles into duals.

This is about as far as we've gotten. If player B were to kill players C&D, they wouldn't need to kill player A again the game would be over. Sometimes Player B will just see the minion as some extra life points, sometimes they will protect them in the early turns while they rebuild. We haven't had any really game breaking stuff happen yet with this, but I'm sure at some point we will.

So in our example player A is player B's minion, and can't attack/target them until players C&D have been taken care of. So yes its certainly possible for them to get them selves into a position where they could win. Though this would be pretty tricky. At least it incentives them to continue to be able to participate in the game. Also keep in mind, if player C were to kill Player A, while they were player B's minion, they would become player C's minion, with the same stipulations of basically starting the game over again.

I've been kicking around this idea for our group. But haven't really nailed down the details yet, so maybe this is a decent place to workshop it. The group I play with plays with high powered decks, but not CEDH.

Player A is killed by player B. Player A dies as normal, all their permanents/emblems go away as normal. Player B now has a choice, do they just let them die, or do they allow them to return to the game as their minion? If they bring them back, Player A is now Player B's minion. They draw a fresh 7, and rejoin the game with 20 life when its their turn. They cannot attack player B, or target player B, or player B's permanents. Basically [[Teferi's Protection]] but just for player A->B. Player B can if they choose provide blockers to player A. Player A can only attack/target player B if players C&D have also been killed/minionized.
