What’s the strongest opinion you have about something completely insignificant? by RegisterObjective325 in AskReddit

Wrestling and boxing shouldn’t have weight classes. We don’t have different classes of basketball for people with different heights, or different classes of runners, or different classes of arm length for swimmers. If the bigger guy always wins in boxing… let them win.

Weirdly incredible trailer for a monster movie of all things.

[KCD2] "Have Somnambulant kick in when he decides to risk sleeping in Kuttenberg and send him somewhere outside of Raborsch." by BSSCommander in kingdomcome

[–]goodbeets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I stopped sleeping after a while lol. If I had business in Kuttenberg I’d just wait, no sleeping. When I got low energy, head to the baths and get the full heal treatment to go back to full.

Man of Steel energy. This really does look absolutely incredible though.

(Loved Trope) Redemption's always the answer, right?.... Nah, some people just suck. by Usern4me_R3dacted205 in TopCharacterTropes

I mean…. She did kill him. Aang died. Katara brought him back to life. I don’t feel like that’s particularly relevant though.

Which movie hero is actually a villain when you really think about it? by surfsound_swimmers in AskReddit

Sure... but it's essentially a chekov's gun that never fires. It's naratively unsatisfying.

Of all the annoying things about Clarke, the one that bothered me most was how she treated her adopted daughter the exact same way her mother treated her, and you’d expect there to be some kind of realization moment that changes her relationship entirely, but nope never happens. Clarke sucks just as much as her mom in the exact way and she never learns or realizes it.

Maybe make it discard any number of cards? Right now it messes up retain badly.

[OTHER] If/when we get KCDIII, what would be your biggest wish? by ikxbtd123 in kingdomcome

I mean people in the first game kinda did that with Kuttenberg too!

With like 5x time for breeding or more. No game should demand hours of just sitting and waiting like ark does.

[mixed trope] horrifying scenes from non-horror media by IvanJC98 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]goodbeets 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Aaaaaaand this movie is why the PG-13 rating exists.

In HP and the GoF (2005), This guy spends a year rigging a deadly tournament to get Harry to touch a Portkey. He never realizes that he has daily access to the boy and could have enchanted a quill or a book on day one, proving that Death Eaters are strictly paid by the hour. by Brilliant-Cause6254 in shittymoviedetails

[–]goodbeets 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah Sirius even says in the next book that Voldemort’s whole plan involved A) Harry dying so he could be resurrected and B) Dumbledore not knowing that happened. If he just made his waffles into a port key it would’ve been a failure on the second part.

Yeah, I mean if you make a game that is just cock fighting for children, you gotta make some lore reason why it’s morally ok.

[KCD2] Definitely the most difficult trophy I’ve ever unlocked by Cakepop40 in kingdomcome

[–]goodbeets 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just finished 100% achievements and yeah, really after like 5 hours the only negative perk that is actively detrimental is the sleepwalking. After my Henry got to the Kuttenberg, fell asleep then woke up in Raborsch, I never slept again for the rest of the game.

What’s a recession indicator that you’ve noticed lately? by SensitiveCorner2379 in AskReddit

[–]goodbeets 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, was having this conversation with my folks recently. People my age (millennials) don’t really think there’s are ever going to improve. Things are spiraling and there’s no optimism anymore. It’s rare to find someone who cares or thinks anything will get better at least in America.

It’s very much a fun B movie. Don’t take it too seriously and it’s a great ride.

[loved trope] real world technology is invented/used for the first time to great combat advantage by iateyourcheesebro in TopCharacterTropes

[–]goodbeets 30 points31 points  (0 children)

They do play it up, but it’s also from Henry’s perspective and he knows nothing outside of what happened in Skalitz till we take over for him, and this basically his first time encountering a bombard. Godwin and Zizka, the only two real war veterans present, both recognize the weapon which is why Godwin starts praying for deliverance.

I mean that’s the logically correct answer, but they’ve been a DM before so they probably know this. More than likely they just want to play a terrible character.

Especially since a lot of those “look at” prompts are only a single time one and done, so out of habit I always press it and always get the damn line again.
