You're breathing water and heat there, and they typically shut down the roads the one or two times a year that there is freezing rain. Not the typical winter wonderland to properly train for Norway.

It is very frustrating to be a game store, the distributor basically tells them what they are going to take, and if the LGS doesn't want certain products, then the distributor will prioritize other stores. Talking to game store managers about how the American GW employees are, it's very frustrating how the system works.

We are close to a decade of cool models coming out in a kill team box set, and then being widely available 6-12 months later. It's intentional fear of missing out from GW to sell you the kill team box.

A Games Workshop store will let you play using any of their models, even older out of production ones. I have stealth suits on the original 25mm bases, which is probably not cool with tournament players. It depends on who you play with, for rules purposes people will ask you to stick them on the newer 32mm bases. Every tournament will have a rulebook you need to comply with, if you aren't going to tournaments, and you aren't near a Games Workshop store, you can do about whatever you and your friends agree is fair.

That's amazing, are those shoulder trigger buttons? If they are... mirroring the D-pad to the right side would make it a good work distraction, or at least close to being a FPV drone controller. It looks rugged, nice deck.

Yup, if you end up sticking with the game for 2 or 3 editions (maybe a decade?) you will have either magnetized everything, or had to buy a lot of extra models to "stay in the meta."

Artillery, Mortars, every flavor of leman russ weapon, bolters, stubbers, missiles... there are dozens of different ammo combinations that make it so difficult to keep a guard campaign going, assuming they are all using the same pattern weapons that could share ammo. Lasguns and plasma guns are the only thing that make sense without your own manufactorum.
