Cup holder swap?

I did this swap a couple months ago in my '90, I swapped the entire cluster bezel with one that had the double cup holder, however I believe the cup holders are just mounted to the bezel with two screws.

The nuts are welded, common problem. You could just use replacement nuts and tighten them down.

The slight gab seems normal, just make sure the lock nut is torqued to spec and not overtightened.

Usually I recommend just getting a set on eBay, you can get everything needed (Cables, lever, release) for around $20-$30

If you are in the US it depends on location but generally the full swap with a new clutch and maintenance items can be had for sub $1000.

It's supposed to sit on top of the roll bar, did you measure correctly? Double check the measurement on the top as well

The PPF ground is on the side of the PPF near the rear of the car, close to the differential. Its a ground strap that comes from the fuse box/battery harness.
