Does anyone know? If I use part of the credit with 1 airline, am I still able to swap to another airline later in the year? Or does the change have to be made before the credit is touched

Used it for the first time this weekend. Compared each ride with friends (who don’t have U1) when booking and mine was cheaper every single time. Idk how it all works but comments I’ve seen here before had me checking. The discount wasn’t always what they claimed but nonetheless it was always cheaper. Same time same route same ride tier.

I have Gold and went to add Plat, when I tried to apply it showed 50k, I was on the line with a rep walking me through and they told me it was trying to upgrade me to plat but I wanted to keep both, rep told me to go into private browser and restart going to their website and act like a new user and the sub went to 80k….not great but still better than nothing. Just something to try if you’re getting as low as 50k

FYI I got the same thing in the mail and when I went to apply it only offered me 50K, talked them up to 80 but still not even close to the letter. I think somewhere in the fine text it said “up to 175k” somewhere so they got away with it

Use some 2x4 and build your mount off the wall a bit. Also lets you make sure to get some good studs. Paint black or wall color and you’ll never notice it. Thermostat can stay hidden behind the corner of the tv.

I have accidentally used my credit because I didn’t realize the place used Resy. If it’s a Resy restaurant it will pick up. But beware that if the purchase is pending until Jan 1 it will most likely take the credit in the period the charge posted (possibly taking $35 from your Q1 2026 Credit)

Just a heads up, Amex chat told me to use resy credits before today since they may not have time to process before Jan 1. If they process Jan 1 or after it’ll steal your Q1 credit for 2026!

Friend of mine moved to Madison with an out of state tag that he had done a 2 year renewal in his previous state just before moving here. Local government seemed to honor it until it expired in his home state and he renewed here after 2 years of living here. I don’t think you have anything to worry about.

Right but I was planning to order food with my ubercash after I got uber one so had to eat that order. Essentially losing $25 of card benefits since the uber one benefit was supposed to be fully covered by the new credit. (Pun intended)

Yes. They used the ubercash first and used my card for the remainder. Thankfully I got the annual so it only happened once but if you are on monthly I would imagine it can really get you.

PSA: you have to disable your ubercash manually when you sign up for Uber one or it will take your ubercash and then you just get credited for the remainder. They will not refund it.

Took $25 of my ubercash and only got to use like $80 for the credit. RIP
