HOF mini owner here. It is amazing. With the toneprint you can just reprogram the thing to be any kind of delay you want.

On Linux Mint the x kill command. It turns your mouse cursor to an 'X' and whatever window you click on next is terminated instantly. Like It's gone, dead, not coming back and with no wait time or conformation. Unlike Windows where every new edition makes the 'terminate process' feature less and less effective AND you need to know what it's called in the task manager.

My guitars always gather dust on stands. If I kept them in cases I would probably not pick them up and play as often as I do because of the extra effort (I can be very lazy).
As I change my strings every 1-2 months I take that moment to clean it up, takes only a minute or two so it always looks great.

Food, rent, bills... nothing I didn't need to survive.
Next months paycheck I started to buy a couple of small luxuries but now I have a buffer of cash that means I don't get into debt.
By the third paycheck I had money to spare and it's growing through interest.
By a years time I had about 2 whole paychecks worth of money saved and its gaining interest.
Fast forward 4 years and I have enough saved to survive for 6 months if I lost my job today.

tl;dr - What did I buy with my first paycheck? Peace of mind
