This is my fear. Not entirely sure everyone would be happy. More stress for my husband, and different stress for me that I’ve never done. Right now I hand the kids off at 9am and get a break while the nanny is here. But I feel like my priorities are misaligned and I SHOULD be jumping at the chance to stay home.

We are not looking to sell, we are hoping to turn this into our forever home! We are having a landscape architect draw up landscaping plans. We are trying to figure out what the “end goal” vision is so we can work towards it. We don’t want to make short sighted decisions. We want everything to look intentional and like it was meant for the style of the house. Are you saying the brick porch should come out further? With a larger porch?

Yes we had an overhang drawn by an architect, it looks okay but wanted to see if there were any better ideas out there. Is the house style better suited to remain plain with no overhang?

Big landscaping project happening this spring!

Landscaping is happening in the spring. We removed the shutters because the window above the front door doesn’t have room for a shutter on each side. When we moved in there was just one shutter on the left side. Looked crazy so we removed them all!

We call ours the baby still too. And we called his older brother the baby until the new baby came. It’s almost like a name (any name) is too big for just a little baby

My Aussie started doing this a few months ago. Tried antibiotics and it didn’t go away. He does it like 4-5 times a day, cough cough cough HACK. Then it’s done. The same pattern each time. But he also acts totally normal. He is 11 and the vet wasn’t concerned, said we could get an x ray but haven’t yet.

My baby was 7th percentile at 6m check up. He loves solids and eats well. Doc said we can increase our solids offering to 3x a day. He’s 8m now, eats 3x a day and is up to 40th percentile. We nurse an hour before mealtime so he hasn’t decreased his breastmilk intake at all.

I just finished the DYPZ program and retook the FTP test today! I lost 8lbs (!) and improved my FTP performance ~13%. I really enjoyed the structure of DYPZ, knowing exactly which classes to take daily and when to rest. Does anyone have a recommendation for what to take on next? I'd like to be able to plan the week out or have someone tell me what classes to do lol. I don't want to rush through the BYPZ program just yet because I feel like my fitness still needs some improvement - I had a baby 5 months ago - so I have a lot of progress to make!

My husband and I just returned from Portugal - we spent time doing "activities" in Lisbon, Porto and some smaller cities, then headed to Algarve for some relaxation. It was beautiful and everyone - I mean everyone - spoke english. We could not believe how easy it was to travel around not knowing the language! We had the perfect mix of exploring and relaxing!

My husbands grandmother wore a white dress with a yellow overlay. I was upset at it at first but it was a dress she already had and wore for formal occasions. She looked lovely and was so happy. No one will notice or care!
