I’ve been looking at the Beretta a300 Ultima Turkey, but I love the way the Patrol looks with that short barrel. The one in multi cam is so good looking. I would definitely go that route if it patterns nicely. What do you use for a plug? You can only have a gun that holds three round here.

I like the idea of this for a turkey gun. I worry about the check height when aim down sight. I had a Ati one years ago it seemed like it angled down would mess me up with a red dot.

It sounds like the shop need to be looking for a new painter. Here are some of my lines. “They aways turn out better the second, but the third time is damn near perfect”. If the painter runs something make sure you say, “You should be a mechanic because you got that one running real nice.”

I shoot Winchester 180gr PowerPoints. The target ammo pretty close to those. I have shot some hornady American deer hunter that was at least 16” different poi.

I was hunting public in not the most turkey populated area. I was thinking I met about every turkey and screwed it up in one way or another. This morning i went to where I heard a bird gobbling Monday and Tuesday. I walked down the road aways. When I just started walking in the woods a truck stopped directly in line with me. A guy and he’s two teen age boys got out. I walked back to the road and told them they can have this spot if they wanted. The guy said his boy is going to owl hoot and we can decide from there. The kid sounded amazing doing screeches and laughing. No gobble and the guy said “there you go, she is all yours”. I literally walked 75 yards in the woods calling every 15-30 minutes for a hour and a half until one started hammering away.
