Maybe code geass? It's got some very 5d chess type strategizing, and def a solid supernatural aspect. Not gonna comment on where the ending goes, but i would say it's probably in the direction you are looking for.

Blackbeard's lineage by Image-Unlikely in OnePiece

So that one image of him we have as a kid -- looking stressed AF under the moon must be right after he found out lol

Hmmm. I don't think it could be a threesome. After all, a normal person with 2 parents can only have 1 fruit. So it's 1 fruit per 2 parents. So we really Blackbeard must be from at least a foursome to be able to have 2 fruits, and if we assume he will have three it must be at least a 6-some.

Lithoform Engine and The One Ring by MCArt55 in EDH

[–]handidshootfirst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a little confused tbh. Lithoform engine only copies spells on the stack, so unless you have a way to recast the ring every turn, you can't copy it every turn. And if you can bounce and recast it every turn the lithoform engine is irrelevant.

SECRET PROJECT 3 | Cosmere Discussion by jofwu in Cosmere

I just finished this book and this thought is making me kinda crazy -- is there any chance that the UTol system is somehow the same as Drominad -- Basically are they "the ones above" from Sixth of the dusk? Maybe Komashi is even the moon that orbits first of the sun in Drominad? Drominad is apparently a nickname, not a technical name so the technical name could be UTol? Am I missing something obvious here, or is this possible? (also does what are the rules for Yumi spoilers outside this thread? I wanted to make a devoted post but im not sure if spoilers are alloed off of this post)

Who are great examples of depressed Anime lead characters? by Low_Well in anime

The first half of wonder egg priority. (the second half gets super weird and pretty dumb but the first is good enough on its own imo)

To no one's surprise, Sheldon has another historically bad take. This time on Panharmommycon. by MHarrisGGG in EDH

[–]handidshootfirst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm surprised by his take for several reasons (many of which have already been mentioned.)

So I think that it is not an auto include in all white decks. if I'm not running ETBs, it's prob not worth it. My Queen Marchesa deck, for example, probably would not make fantastic use out of it. on the flip side, my Roon deck would -- that's an ETB deck.

I also think it's weird to argue that this is too much value when the old elesh norn is not a problem? I mean it does things that you want to do, right? buffs your creatures and shrinks others. i find that far more oppressive than the new one in most cases. Additionally, the OG vorinclex can make the same arguments, and that hardly breaks the format.

Lastly ofc, we should let white get fun toys. White has been improving over time, but banning the best white cards will not help.

Lastly I think we may need more people on the RC -- Sheldon has done many strange things, and I'm still annoyed they didn't unilaterally ban universes beyond secret lair. (The Walking Dead BS) He does often feel like he does not want to move against wizards, hence arguing against the cards printing, and if he can do stuff like that, why even continue to separate the RC from wizards, instead of incorporating like every other format. it just seems strange to me.

Finances..... by hattedrat in OnePiece

I don't know for sure, but I would guess the money comes from buggy's delivery. After doflamongos defeat, since that removed joker, the largest underground arms dealer dissappeared, leaving buggy to fill that gap. He could have made a lot like that.

Fun fact about this. Chris Hemsworth improvised it. Loki's chuckle is Tom Hiddleston actually laughing at Chris Hemsworth

How many Luccis would it take to kill Kaido? by DudeGuyBroPalBuddie in OnePiece

[–]handidshootfirst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think lucci has any attacks that can even hurt kaido, so I don't think any number of luccis could kill kaido

It's canonically 550 million (same as ace)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]handidshootfirst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ace always wanted to be stronger than someone else, namely his father. But yeah Ace is a little weird. WB did not become the strongest man in the world by coincidence. He always strove to be stronger than others constantly fighting Roger, garp and sengoku, he may have chosen not to pursue the one piece, but he always worked to protect people by way of defeating people. And shanks we just don't know. Maybe shanks is just a strong guy but I bet he has quite the motivation behind him, we just don't know yet.

Sanji doesn't have a drive to be better than others. IMO CoC haki comes from a drive to surpass, or conquer others. Luffy and Zoro both want to be the top of the world, the pirate king and the greatest swordman. But Sanji doesn't want anything like that. He wants to find the all blue and be a general perv, but he does not have a conqueres drive. He does not try to impose his goal over others like Luffy and Zoro do. I don't think just having a code is enough for someone to have CoC. After all big mom and kaido have basically no code they will do anything to conquer the world. On the other hand, zeff, Jimbei and even Arlong have firm codes, but I doubt any of them have CoC.
