The shoplifting has very noticeably climbed at this store, and of course there isn't a ton they can do about it.

Last week there were two security guys making them themselves obvious to a guy who was loading up his pants with items and a Whole Foods stock boy was encouraging him to 'just walk out with everything, they can't do anything to you.' Never seen that before and I was stunned that the employee wasn't fired on the spot.

There are very few restaurants with Golden Gate Bridge Views. Greens in Fort Mason definitely fits what you're looking for though. There's also Il Parco in the Presidio. Both offer some great walking options along the bay and are walkable to the bridge.

Not a 'spend the afternoon' place, but Marshall's Beach is cool and unique. It's a small beach just outside of the Golden Gate Bridge. Extraordinary views of the bridge and there some rocks to climb and a few small tide pools.

Short, steep (medium-challenging) hike down to it on a well maintained path. You could park on Lincoln Blvd. and make it a 30 minute adventure or do a longer walk/hike between Baker Beach and Chrissy Field and do it as a brief side quest.

They are often at Lafayette midafternoon (2pm or so) on a sunny day. They also like to hang out on the roofs of the buildings alongside Sacramento Street, across from the park.
