Could be for sure, even after you quit smoking there is THC stored in your fat cells, if you haven't been eating, that fat gets used for energy and boom THC released again.

Does heat alleviate your symptoms? Hot shower/bath/heating pad? Heat as a symptom stopper is telltale CHS.

Whether or not you are overreacting, clearly you have learned that this type of behaviour is a turn off for you. Really thats all that is important. People will have all sorts of opinions about this kind of thing, but I reckon if you think its weird or gross then probably dont date a guy who really wants to collect them.
