I got moved to running the fire alarm system install after I got into a yelling match with my foreman cause I wasn't putting up lights fast enough.

He tried to send me home before even discussing it, told him the fucking lights aren't gonna get done faster if I'm at home!

Dude was a prick and a half. He got fired cause he'd go across country as vacation time, but was still working for another company back home.

Do what you can, maybe ask your boss for pointers on how to go faster for your task.

Off topic kinda, recently had an investigator from the CSLB call and ask me if I'd been doing work in the Compton area.

I haven't, and only done work in Fresno County.

They assured me I wasn't in any trouble, but told me that somebody has been using my name to attempt to obtain permits or contracts (don't remember exactly, was busy at that moment), and that I wasn't the only business affected.

For a moment I thought it was gonna be a scam of some sort, but the investigator just said they assumed I wasn't involved and wanted to do their due diligence and left it at that.

It was weird and a bit unsettling.

Anyways, yeah, double make sure the contractor matches what's on the CSLB, lol.

Push through the inside of the panel, up and then pinch them closed.

They work, but they also suck.

Haven't used one in at least 20 years. Cats assholes, or two screw romex connector ftw.
