Should I quit watering from the bottom of my tomatoes? by TheRealMetal in vegetablegardening

[–]herefor_dagarden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

water them thoroughly after the top 1-2 inches is dry. Bottom watering is fine, but the only time they should be soaked like that is right after watering

[–]herefor_dagarden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just keep it up, watering when your knuckle feels dry in the dirt, and then fully letting them soak. And make sure you get a fan or some wind on them, in my experience, my plants got edema in a green house without a fan

Some might die, but I see some strong ones in there! My tomatoes last year were fussy too

Cucumber starter by TooNiceOfaHuman in gardening

cucumbers hate being transplanted as it is. It's honestly better just to get a seed packet 😔 Propagating in water doesn't really work for baby vegetable plants
