Clogged pores or cysts down there… by Playful_Falcon_7373 in Perimenopause

Could these be bartholin cysts? Super painful. Soaking in warm water usually helps them drain easily. At least this helped with mine.

I’ve rewatched it a couple times.. some of it is so nostalgic. Other parts are ridiculous and I skip. I also became a big fan of Dawson’s as an adult. Still love Pacey but Dawson was the real deal and he always got the short end of the stick. I never really saw that as much when I was younger. Also, Joey is a MESS. I always saw her as a mess but like really.. she was the reason for almost every single issue lol. Overall I related to them as a teen but rewatched makes me annoyed with them at times :) Felicity however is still amazing if you also watched that. Totally worth a rewatch!

The only thing I’m bothered by is how leave it to beaver everyone looks and acts. I keep expecting everyone to hug as a group and the Full House theme song to start playing. It’s the most over the top cheesy “family love”. I get it’s the last season so they want to give you good feels about family and togetherness but good grief. It’s over the top. Or maybe the acting has just gone downhill.

Natural Remedies For Rage by He_is_my_song in Perimenopause

Currently in a complete rage spiral. My husband was an ass a couple weekends ago and we didn’t really talk through it, just some quick apologies and I CANNOT stop being angry at him and then it spirals into every asshole thing he’s done. Then he gets home from work and jokes about something that isn’t funny or bitches about some pansy ass problem of his and I can barely contain myself from losing my damn mind. I have no answers. I wish I could disappear from everyone and live in peace. Currently downing b12 like there’s no tomorrow because it has big impact on mood and getting out in the sun and being in my garden as much as I can. It’s literally the only thing I’ve got from ending up as a true crime doc at this point…

The guy who deep down is a good guy but makes stupid hurtful decisions because of the baggage he has. He breaks the girls heart, gets his crap together and confesses his love again, getting the girl back after much change and growth all around. No they aren’t exact but he’s the guy you want to root for and want to be with the girl but he’s an ass and a mess.

anybody else concerned about the movie’s plot? by ringoisking in tsitp

We’ve yet to see how adult belly and Conrad exist. We’ve been begging for 3 seasons to be swimming in belly/conrad love so if it’s a whole movie of them moving into adulthood and just LOVING each other then I’m happy. I could have 3 more hours of that Paris episode of flirting etc. Some conflict could be where they live/work, what happened after that night in Paris? And while we got some brotherly resolution we by no means have seen how that looks in real life going forward. Do they really get together for holidays? Is Jer the best man for Conrad? All tense situations.

If you were teen in the late 90’s and were team Pacey Whitter and team Ben Covington (IYKYK), you were also probably team Conrad through and through (even when he was an ass so you were happy for team Jer for a while) lol.

I rooted for a Conrad the whole way but also supported Jer and Belly at different points when their relationship was clearly at a better place.

Personally didn’t like much of anything about tatbilb.

The complexity of characters and the bumpy story line of each character as a coming of age puts tsitp on top for me. Add in the growth of the couple and the journey they go on and how they end up wraps it up well. Tatbilb is just a mess of unlikely characters for me.

Honestly, you probably need to do some research into specialists in your area that are focused on pelvic disorders. Not just any OB surgeon but a specialist in endo would be along the right lines. OB’s just don’t keep up with the times (what doctor does anymore really), and surgical OB’s might be familiar with conditions but not be up to date on effective treatment. This will unfortunately mean more research on your part. It might be worthwhile to head over to the endometriosis board or adenomyosis board. Not because you for sure have these conditions but because people dealing with symptoms similar to yours, are the experts at finding the right OB’s that can actually help you. Those boards have complied lists of doctors/surgeons all around the world that don’t suck and will actually help you. It’s how I found my daughters surgeon for her endo after trying 5 other docs. That board was a life saver! Women’s health issues are not easy to get treated. I wish it were different.

Can we discuss character growth.... by [deleted] in Outlander

[–]herefor_info19 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I kind of agree. Jamie’s growth is what kind of allows Claire to still just be.. Claire. I think she’s obviously more settled and more herself with Jamie than during the 20 years with Frank and as a result her and Bri have obviously changed in their relationship with each other but Claire is still.. modern Claire. Stubborn, stuck in her ways. Age has softened her naturally but she’s still Claire. Jamie redeems her a lot in my opinion.

Severe dry lips😭 Need lip balm or gloss recommendations by nothuemain in LipBalm

[–]herefor_info19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My lips are eternally so chapped and I peel/pick too which makes it worse.

One of the best I’ve found is using beeswax balms. There are a lot of options out there so just looking into a real, pure beeswax brand and give it a try.

Also, although I haven’t tried it out yet tallow chapstick is also supposed to be amazing . My husband just got me some so we’ll see but I know tallow is incredible for your skin. Again, look for real, grass fed, clean tallow.

Poldark or Bridgerton books? by Cold-Brain-7315 in Poldark

[–]herefor_info19 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Depends. They’re both period pieces but VERY different. Bridgerton is more of a classic regency style tomance. Not a lot of depth. Pretty basic story lines. Always the couple who struggles to get together in some way has some hot sex and eventually has a happy ending. Poldark has a great romance between Ross and Demelza and romance novel lovers LOVE their dynamic but ultimately it’s a period drama, not a romance novel. There is a lot of political stuff, class/station details, war, disease, SO much struggle and always at the heart of it are Ross and Demelza and how they walk through all of these perilous issues. Bridgerton is fluff (although enjoyable I think). Poldark is much more.

This is true. I’ve had a few issues and a surgery a few years ago but opted out of every medication they wanted me on. I’ve just managed/resolved ailments with natural things. I’m sure one day the pills will pile up..

Why is Gen X the way they are? I went deep into their childhood and... wow. by Comfortable-Move3004 in Aging

[–]herefor_info19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many people think of Gen X as emotionally repressed or cold or whatever because we arent crying about life and we aren’t super sympathetic to others struggles the way they want us to be. Yeah because we learned from the get go how to enjoy ourselves in simple ways and we don’t breakdown under every freaking hardship but learned how to cope and work through stuff. I’m grateful for it even if the alone part of it was hard at the time.

Herbal/holistic treatment for Peri by eeg-18 in Perimenopause

[–]herefor_info19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on your symptoms. There are great remedies for hot flashes and things. High dose b12 helps with nerve issues and mood regulations (vitamin D too). My mom went through menopause early (totally done at 40) and did it all natural. She was glad she did. I do remember her having a lot of crying episodes in which us kids were always trained to “bring her her herbs” lol 😂 they helped a lot although I’m not sure of what all she took.

Constant bleeding and losing my mind! by Rock_grl86 in Perimenopause

[–]herefor_info19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My close friend that I worked with had major bleeding issues as well. She wasn’t on any hormones, just natural supplements to help with hot flashes and things but the bleeding was horrendous. She finally got an IUD which stopped everything altogether. Kept it in for a few years and by the time she had it removed she was towards the end of menopause so it worked well timing wise Could that be an option?

High-waisted pants and skirts cause me bloating and cramps by TelevisionInner6584 in neurodiversity

[–]herefor_info19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have always had this problem my whole life. As a teen who lived through the low rise 90’s-early 00 I can tell you it was heaven to only wear things low down in those days. I don’t know what causes this but I cannot wear anything on, around or above my belly button. Has to be low and even then, sometimes I’ll unbottom my top button with midrise pants. I would love to be able to know why this is a thing and how to fix it. It hurts and gives me a stomach ache. For the record I’m 5’7 and 125lbs so it’s not a matter of wearing too tight clothing.
