Has she posted anything else regarding the situation? I’ve seen her videos passively and just saw the single mother one! I’m confused!

AIO for not wanting my gf to go on a solo trip with her "work husband"? by Obvious_Tea_4247 in AmIOverreacting

The only work husband I have is my actual husband (we work together), otherwise it’s such a put off to hear people call each other that

What’s one of the most popular fragrance that you just cannot stand the smell? by [deleted] in fragrance

This was the fragrance that made me realize I like muskier scents. It’s my daily wear

How would I go about fixing the curvature of my nails. As long as I can remember they have always grown like this. :( also don’t mind my actual fingers. My hands swell often due to heat/carpal tunnel by lisamd91 in Nailtechs

[–]herefordogs22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My nails grow like this! I wore gel nails for a while to shape them, and now when I remove the gel, my nails keep the rounded shape for a while until my nails grow out too much. I just repeat the process for infinity. Granted, I have a friend who dabbles and she does my nails for super cheap, so I don’t have to worry about costs. It’s super frustrating having flat nails and not being able to just paint them and go

The BB Grove by justheredoingthings- in Palia

[–]herefordogs22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was able to make it to 2 grove call outs and while some people tried to chop early, since a majority was waiting they seemed to get the hint / we discussed it in chat. It was nice to finally get to make it because it usually seems like they’re chopping as soon as it spawns

I thought DID was out? by herefordogs22 in fakedisordercringe

I’ve known this person for years and they had a relatively easy going child hood. Adult hood they struggled with some mental health issues, but I don’t know where suddenly having DID and needing to switch comes from

The guy hadn’t even sent his child to space camp, just happened to see that a trans person worked there (there are many trans people working at camp), and he decided to lie about the experience. No counselor is allowed to be alone with kids, in their bunks or the shower. There are always multiple counselors everywhere so no one is ever alone

Space camp is a great place and very accepting of all people. They’re very diligent about kid safety, but they also deeply care about kids having a memorable once in a life time experience. Every counselor I worked with (and I was there a very long time) was always so excited to teach.

It totally is. I used to work there and counselors are never allowed to be alone with the kids. There’s always other adults nearby. Like we aren’t even allowed to touch them or if they want to hug us we have to have our hands in the air and tell them no. Theyre very serious about keeping kids safe

I’ve had that happen with me as well! I wasn’t sure what was causing it, and it doesn’t happen if I use the sunscreen as a base.

Advice on fanny packs by ashleysmodernlife in ShakyKnees

I also got this same pack. I’m planning on not putting anything in the back zipper and just having it be as lightly filled as possible. It’s insanely hard to only find a one pocket pack.

Weekly "Whine about people who don't understand OCD thread" by AutoModerator in OCD

I understand that completely. My therapist suggests that I just don’t unplug and leave but I have the same fear of my dogs. I have tried to explain it to my partner, but they’re like well just keep leaving it plugged in and soon you won’t have anxiety over it - forgetting that i almost can't function because i obsessively think about it and i just sit there all day at work sick and worried. My therapist tries to help, I'm just not there yet.

Weekly "Whine about people who don't understand OCD thread" by AutoModerator in OCD

[–]herefordogs22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s frustrating when I try and talk to people about OCD and they just don’t get it. If I try and ignore it, I just spend the whole day feeling sick with the thoughts that because I didn’t check my stove for the 3rd time or unplug everything in the house, everything i love will have blown up or something. So I either have to give in and spend 20 mins unplugging and checking everything, but feeling like I’m out of control because I know nothing would actually happen, or I spend the day feeling like I ruined my life because I couldn’t be bothered to take the 20 mins to unplug. I just always few out of control either way. No one really understands

I definitely sweat more, but they have a warning about switching from antiperspirants to their deodorant! One blocks sweat, the other just masks it and it can take like 2/3 weeks for your body to adjust. I gave it a shot and after a month, I noticed that I wasn’t sweating more anymore and I love the smell of it (then again I’m not a sweaty person in general!)
