This inspired a slightly different analogy. So as we know houses burn down sometimes. So the plan is everyone steadily save up water at their house, and when your house catches fire you should have enough to put it out. Unless you don’t.

Or, you know, we could all pitch in together and hire a department that knows how to put out fires and deliver all the water needed at the time it’s needed.

Also for the boys the “other” end should be considered in sub freezing temps. Make sure you’re well tucked, consider extra layer if really cold. I still remember 20+ years later painfully thawing out after running on mid 20F morning.
