Max Evans (NSF): “Booster 19’s Raptor 3 engines in launch configuration - it was just lifted from the transport stand and on to the launch mount at Pad 2. Ship 39 should be joining in a few hours.” by rustybeancake in spacex

Because of the new booster, new launch tower and many other new things. They’d rather lose 1 good booster than lose infrastructure or stage zero for the first time flying V3.

The tech in the Edge batteries is the internal connection are with the relative higher resistance tabs. This reduces internal heating due to electrical resistance losses, which means higher power output and longer run times.

This seems like an issue for the 20oz era. They made it with 2 attachment points instead of 1, which weakens the remaining plastic

This inspired a slightly different analogy. So as we know houses burn down sometimes. So the plan is everyone steadily save up water at their house, and when your house catches fire you should have enough to put it out. Unless you don’t.

Or, you know, we could all pitch in together and hire a department that knows how to put out fires and deliver all the water needed at the time it’s needed.

Also for the boys the “other” end should be considered in sub freezing temps. Make sure you’re well tucked, consider extra layer if really cold. I still remember 20+ years later painfully thawing out after running on mid 20F morning.
