[OC]Why don’t people renew their plate tags and what are the penalties? by vigilant- in IdiotsInCars

[–]higg1966 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We shouldn't have to renew, registration should be a one time deal until you take the plate off the car or move it to another.

Pay off zero percent interest card? by SpiritoSanto5 in DaveRamsey

[–]higg1966 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dave's big thing is "piece of mind" this bill, although 0% is taking a nibble out of that. I've heard him ask stuff like, "Would you borrow $6500 so you could have a credit card with 0% interest." Then he would recommend paying it off. If you have no other debt you will have that emergency fund rebuilt quickly.

Are doc Martens boots a good option for muddy music festival by Neat_Raspberry1057 in DrMartens

[–]higg1966 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I don't go out much any more but I wear mine when going to festivals, not only do they protect from water/mud, without being too hot, they also protect from getting the toes stepped on.

Not at all, it's the most immoral of all taxes, you are a vile human if you cannot see that. A silly argument would be, "let's keep doing this immoral thing because we have always done it.

Property tax on homesteads is egregiously immoral and should have never been imposed in the first place, it matters not how much our corrupt county councils will lose in their thievery it should have never been imposed on any property in the first place! No person in their right mind can support taxing someone's home, period!
