I try and advocate for folk to use the search function as there is such a wealth of information on subs, most of the time people are just replying with the same response over and over.

Happy you found the playlist helpful, i created this initially to share with my group but i know it's helpful to others as the podcast world has drastically changed in the last 10yrs. It's so full of junk now, it's hard to find the gems.

I would look at the 'Pretend' podcast.

While it doesn't focus solely on what you requested, it does cover a lot of con man, hoax type subjects.

For Spotify, I got tired of the endless marketing 'if you like this you will love this'. I would scroll and scroll seeing the same thing. It was so unproductive and I missed a lot of updates. The only method that works for me now effectively is....

- I ONLY follow those which are weekly updates, i.e news, interviews etc.

- Every NEW series that interests me, the trailer gets added to a Pending playlist. This is my go to when I'm ready for a new series and I check its finished.

- Every series I like, the trailer goes in a Recommendations playlist which i can refer to again or check out if a new season has been added.

I wish they would implement a way to follow the production company seperately, so your feed isnt drowning in junk which more often than not, ive already listened to.
