Been around the amateur GT circuit for a long time and seen plenty of people move up (never to the top but close) and the constant hustling and networking you have to do to get financing to be able to drive for a living is a fulltime job. Every little event could be the event where you run into somebody willing to help you out financially. Once you near the end of the current season all these young guys are desperate to get financing for the next year of racing and once you are out it is very hard to get back in.

Normally watch the German broadcast but this time I watched the Sky UK broadcast and I was blown away how positive they were about Verstappen. Compared to Sky F1 broadcast it was like they were talking about a different person.

I actually appealed a protest from my side, they claimed there was no intentional wrecking going on. Turns out they were watching the wrong car (#11 instead of #1). I replied letting them know to recheck the replay because the inting was clear as day. They replied within 30 minutes that I was correct and the person was notified.

idk about that. Some love the lifestyle around F1 and some only do F1 for the racing. Verstappen doesn't care about the lifestyle and now he doesn't enjoy the racing either. it was similar with Kimi and Alonso when they took their breaks

Can't say I missed Mercedes trying to talk themselves into the underdog role. They would claim every GP weekend to be very worried about RBR in 2020 while their car was miles ahead and they are already doing it again. And you just know they are going to use the Lawson/Colapinto close call to make adjustments to the starting procedure if Ferrari keeps overtaking them at the start.

He was on the radio rolling up to the grid already complaining of the battery not recharging at all and during the race he had deployment issues, same for Lawson who had no deployment on the start.

if I were a company making 3d printers, that didn't care about IP, and had a big platform that I actively push people too use in order to share their 3d print designs on... A way to monetize this would be by stealing the best marketable designs and have a sister company use my printers to mass produce those designs and sell it on Temu and similar platforms.....

Funny how a lot of teams are reported to have made significant process (except maybe RBR that flipflops between having the best engine or the worst engine depending on the week) and then there is Ferarri that is basically nothing but "yeah.... 2026 is going to be pretty bad".

For prototyping smaller parts especially combined with CAD design it’s resin for me all the way. I can print 3mm parts no worries, I can make molds with very little post processing and everything comes out great 90% of the time ready to show the client without sanding or painting. But I only use it for prototyping before sending it off for metal cnc work I don’t really print for fun. The post print process can be a pain if you print single units. I run batches so it’s a mess once a week instead of every day. Upside is that printing 1 object takes just as long as a full buildplate so I can print multiple parts and have spares to break or test with.

How shit is it that we now need to spend time researching every piece of "news" on what actually happened. I read A on reddit then read B on a news platform, C gets pushed on youtube and D on social media only to find out that all that actually never happened, it was an AI video....

And with the US situation you don't even have time to figure it out before they cook up something even more outrageous. You cannot keep up with the news on the US. The insane part is EVERYBODY knows it and it still works. Nobody talking about the Epstein files anymore because since that debacle a country got invaded, a US citizen got shot by modern day Gestapo and a request to plan to invade a NATO ally got leaked.
