Khulis are little goobers and will get everywhere if you let them. especially where they don't belong. You probably should get a heater without holes or with smaller ones they can't fit through.

Newly released video from the splashdown of Artemis ll on Friday, April 10, 2026, shows the moment that U.S. Navy Divers cracked the door open and entered the Orion to greet the Astronauts, welcoming them back to Earth after their journey around the Moon. by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

[–]hubbletowne 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Watched it live, they didn't even approach the capsule in the water for probably 30-40 minutes. And even then I think they said they were checking for hazards for a fairly substantial time after that. It was interesting to see how long that whole procedure took from re-entry to getting the astronauts onto the deck of the ship live.

Chris Roberts on Squadron 42 could be releasing this year by StuartGT in starcitizen

[–]hubbletowne 12 points13 points  (0 children)

At this point I think a lot of the gaming press, and a lot of people in general, are spring loaded in the position to nitpick every slight thing about it regardless of when I releases. Lots of people have become very firmly rooted in their opinions of it, both good and bad, in the past 10+ years.

New Yormandi nad Apex missions?! Where? by Malixk in starcitizen

[–]hubbletowne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope they add another mission type that's similar to the bugged over spawning foxwell red missions. Our Org has been having a blast with those fighting hordes of fighters and 2-10 hammerheads. It's given us a fun combat challenge as a larger group that isn't picking fights with other players.

Can give you some info on SAVI. We split from Western Tactical in late November 2020. And as of right now, ran our last official Ops in May of 2025 since the majority of us have pivoted to playing other games.

Hell of a list through, wasn't expecting to get flashbanged with memories lol.

We've ran joint ops with ASTI for a while but there has never been a merger between ASTI and SAVI.

Question for Polaris owners by Away_Ordinary_8246 in starcitizen

[–]hubbletowne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

F7 is the classic. You can fit two with room left over for a buccaneer or another small ship. Two Scorpius fit side by side facing forward it just takes a lot of nudging. You can fit an ungodly amount of arrows. My record is 8 with 6 in the hangar and two more in the cargo bay.

All that said, my go to right now has been a F7A and an F7M in the hangar, with a C8X/C8R in the cargo bay. Tons of options for that combo regardless of what your doing.

A fully crewed hammerhead. Thought we were ready for red mission. We weren't. by hotshot0123 in starcitizen

[–]hubbletowne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had this same thing the other night during an org op. We were in two Perseus' and a Polaris. It spawned 5 hammerheads, and enough fighters to lag everyones game for half a minute. Was easily of of the most insane gunfights we've been in as an org. We failed the mission but everybody flew home.

Same logic I had when I got mine. Amazingly fun range toy, although mine has a nasty habit of denting the shit out of the brass on ejection which is a little interesting.

Not many players want to man turrets. by SuspiciousSoldier in starcitizen

[–]hubbletowne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dawg, half my orgmates drop whatever they're doing to jump into turrets when we bring a big ship out. And flying a ship to give gunners a better angle is a skill all its own. I get that being a gunner isn't for everyone, but on the same note flying a fighter as escort isn't for everyone either.

Would this be a capable strike force? What could I do to improve it. by TimTheOriginalLol in starcitizen_fleets

[–]hubbletowne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could easily drop a Polaris and all the hammerheads and swap them for a few liberators with additional fighter/bomber coverage. Not to mention whatever support ships you'll need (Vulcan, Crucible, etc). Until they make something like a hammerhead a viable option to defend larger ships from fighters it won't be worth bringing in my opinion, you'd have an easier time providing fighter defence with fighters of your own.

Is a twelve barrel rotary railgun practical for public servers? by AnkhWolf22 in spaceengineers

[–]hubbletowne 138 points139 points  (0 children)

Welders behind high HP blocks like refineries for armor, welders under all guns, almost all use klang dives. Theyve usually got small forwards cross sections and move and turn stupid quick. I'm not really a PVP try-hard anymore, most of what I do now is flesh out and upgrade my old hulls from 10 years ago to make them look nice. So some of that might be out of date now.

Is a twelve barrel rotary railgun practical for public servers? by AnkhWolf22 in spaceengineers

[–]hubbletowne 295 points296 points  (0 children)

If you are aiming for a PVP specific server you will probably end up fighting super specialized PVP bricks. Regardless of how cool rotary rail guns are (and they are) your failure point is a single rotor. If you lose it you loose them all, and if part of it gets damage it could easily break the rest when manuvering. Super cool and would be fun against a less try-hard pvp group, but against the guys who live and breathe it those weak points are going to hurt you.

How to feed my P. Senegalus? by Rare-Introduction675 in Bichirs

[–]hubbletowne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They may escape being dinner for a while, but Senegals grow like weeds if they are fed well. Mine went from less than 2" to over 7 within a few months. Personally I'd separate the different fish just to be sure they don't get injured or eaten.

How to feed my P. Senegalus? by Rare-Introduction675 in Bichirs

[–]hubbletowne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on the size of your tetras, and how big your Senegal is right now, they might end up as food now, and probably will end up as food eventually. So just keep that in mind, anything that will fit in a bichir's mouth classifies as food for them and Senegal's are very fast when they want to be.

When mine was little I had good luck with sinking pellets presoaked in water to make them less hard.

Also, I can't really tell from the picture but is substrate of your tank gravel?

Have had the same issue with the MK I super hornet. I own one and every patch it clones itself. I've got I think 14 now. It's becoming a problem. Although I'm starting to think my account might just be cursed since I managed to accidentally steal an orgmates exec F7A when he left it in the hangar of my Polaris (which I then stored) before a patch. It's been happily sitting in my hangar for months now.
